Ne-Yo Responds To Reports That He Regrets Giving Beyonce “Irreplaceable”

beyonce-ne-yo.jpg

R&B Singer Ne-Yo stirred up some press earlier this week after headlines stated that he regretted giving the hit record “Irreplaceable” to Beyonce. He was quoted as telling Choice FM radio:

One song that I gave away and didn’t want to is Beyonce’s Irreplaceable. I honestly wrote that song for myself. But that song actually taught me a very interesting lesson – men and women don’t actually think that much differently in the grand scheme of things.

“However, a man singing it comes across a little bit misogynistic, a little bit mean.”

Before Beyonce stans came attacking, Ne-Yo took to his twitter page and claimed he never said such a thing.

Ok. What’s this I hear about me wishing I never gave Beyonce’ Irreplaceable? Y’all ACTUALLY believe I said that? SERIOUSLY? Wow. Aiight.

Believing everything you read is just as bad as letting somebody run you. Stop letting these media haters and bloggers control y’all.

You wanna know ’bout me? ASK ME. You wanna know if I said somethin’ ASK ME. C’mon y’all. I KNOW you’re smarter than that.

All good. Beyonce’ is a friend of mine. I’m sure she knows I’d never dis her in regard to Irreplaceable or at all for that matter.

I don’t doubt that he was misquoted. It’s common in this day and age so until that audio shows up online….

Beyonce’s new single to be released in April?

beykanye.png

One of the Beyonce World visitors had a chance to talk with music producer Robert ‘Shea’ Taylor, who previously worked with Beyonce during B’Day. Apparently he also signed up for Beyonce’s upcoming album and he had a few interesting things to share:

* Her music is pop with a little bit of R&B, but more “musical”.

* It has an 80s feel to it but made modern.

* It’s like Michael Jackson’s music during his prime (that’s what the album is gonna be like).

* She has a song with Kanye West that’s suppose to be amazing.

* Her first single is huge and will premiere at the end of April.

Only rumors for now, but keep checking back for the latest.

Does anybody have a HQ video of her performance at the 2009 Academy Awards? She sang and danced with Hugh Jackman.
Thank you.

Ne-Yo defends Beyonce comments

neyobey.png

Ne-Yo has set the record straight on his recent comments about Beyonce. Last week the Miss Independent singer was quoted saying he regrets giving Beyonce the song Irreplaceable, because he wishes he’d recorded it himself.

Now the R&B star has hit back at critics who thought he was criticizing Bey, using his Twitter account to address the story.

‘Just heard the audio where I supposedly dissed Beyoncé,’ he Tweeted yesterday. ‘ARE Y’ALL SERIOUS!?! Did y’all even listen to what I said!? I said I originally wrote the song for me. That’s true, so OF COURSE I didn’t want to give it away originally. IT WAS FOR ME. Once I realized how the song comes across if sang by a guy, that’s when I decided to give it away. HOW IS THAT DISSING BEYONCE!?! She took the song and made it a smash, NOBODY can deny that.’

BC Jean Survives Beyonce

beyonce-and-bc-jean-2.jpg

Remember BC Jean?

Back in 2008, it was reported that the (then) 21 year old had co-wrote the song “If I Were A Boy,” which was later recorded by Beyonce. The most astonishing part of the story was that BC Jean claimed she didn’t even know that her song was recorded by Beyonce until it hit the news. Fox News also reported that Matthew Knowles at the time was aggressively pursued the publishing rights to the song so that he could put Beyonce’s name on the writing credits.

Anyway, it looks as though she has come out on top. BC Jean reportedly received a $250,000 settlement (which was kept on the hush) and a deal with Clive Davis, who pursued her shortly after wards.

Now, she is pushing her first song “I’ll Survive You,” that’s getting rave reviews. You can listen to the single over at The NY POST.

Edited to say: It is noteworthy to mention that although BC Jean claimed the song was stolen from her, her writing partner started shopping it to bigger artists and sold it without her knowledge. Listen Here. He also said, he tried to shop BC Jean but no one believed in her.

Beyonce Finally Announces That Mathew Knowles Is No Longer Her Manager

Beyonce-and-Matthew-Knowles.jpg

Today, Beyonce’s publicist finally revealed that Bey and her father Mathew Knowles have parted ways on a “business level”. In a statement to the Associated Press, Beyonce says that she is grateful for the role that he has had in her career and that she still has love for her father. “He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly“.

Who didn’t see this coming?

Over the past few years, former Destiny’s Child members Kelly and Michelle jumped, what looked like a sinking ship, over at Music World Entertainment. Ever since the media started focusing on Mathew’s infidelities and a lovechild that was born last year, we saw less and less of Mathew around Beyonce, which was sort of odd. In June and September of last year, rumors swirled that Beyonce and her father were feuding but those claims were shot down by a rep for Beyonce both times.

So who’s going to take over management duties. Tina Knowles?

I wouldn’t be surprised if she announces that she’s now represented by Jay-z’s Roc Nation…

Actually I would be +_-

Mathew Knowles Releases Statement On Beyonce, Discontinues Relationship With Tiffany

77972703_beyonce_knowles_matthew_knowles_470x300.jpg

Yesterday, it was reported that Mathew Knowles would no longer be managing the career of his very famous daughter, Beyonce. Since then, Mathew has released a very formal yet official statement where he fluffs up his gospel artists and in a surprising bit of news, will not continue working with singer Tiffany Evans.

“The decision for Beyonce and Music World Entertainment to part was mutual. We did great things together, and I know that she will continue to conquer new territories in music and entertainment. Currently, I am very focused on the tremendous investment that our record label has made in the gospel/inspirational genre of music and on our supremely talented roster of artists, including Trin-i-tee 5:7, Brian Courtney Wilson, Juanita Bynum, Micah Stampley, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Pastor Rudy and others.

Music World will continue its partnership with Sony with Destiny’s Child and UK female group From Above, as well as management. We will also continue to develop the Music World family of labels: Music World Country/Compadre, Music World Kids and Music World Music. In Music World’s repositioning it will not continue its label/management role with Columbia/Sony artist Tiffany Evans.

Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success.”

Mathew also explains to US Magazine that because of the success of all of his gospel artists, he has chosen to focus solely on gospel for now. When asked who will be managing Beyonce’s career, he responded “Beyonce has the knowledge and experience to make that decision and no final decision has been made yet.”

Meanwhile, Beyonce tells US:

“I’ve only parted ways with my father on a business level. He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me. I grew up watching both he and my mother [Tina Knowles] manage and own their own businesses. They were hard-working entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps.

Beyonce Spotted In New York City

Earlier today Beyonce was spotted ducking and dodging the paparazzi along side her intimidating bodyguard Julius. This is her first appearance after announcing her father will no longer manage her career. Perhaps she was on her way to the studio to lay down some hot tracks for her upcoming album.

Beyoncé talks at-home beauty treatments, makeup tricks

- Allure.

When I recently spoke with Beyoncé, she mentioned that her latest fragrance, Heat Rush, is meant to “remind you of sunshine”. We asked B to shed some sunlight on her favorite beauty products, what it’s like to give people a fragrance bottle with your name on it, and that rite of passage every young woman goes through: stealing her mother’s perfume.

How often do you wear fragrance?
Every day. I put it on as soon as I get out of the shower. I wear it onstage, in the studio, on dates.

How many fragrances do you own?
I’m very loyal. I find one and wear it for years. I wear Heat and Heat Rush—I really do! It was important to me that they work for all occasions because I don’t like to switch up. I like to have a signature scent so that when I walk past, everyone knows it’s me. My mother always wore the same fragrance [when I was a kid] and every time I smell it, I think of her.

What perfume is that?
She wore 273. I remember it was the first thing that I wore because I used to steal it from her!

ACCORDING TO fan reports on Twitter, Beyonce is currently at SplashLight studios in SoHo New York, NY doing a photoshoot. Nothing official has been confirmed; nor has there been any news on what exactly is being shot… But fans are swirling with excitement. Ty Hunter, Beyonce’s stylist, was also (to add on to this story) reported to be doing clothing pulls for a lot of different looks for the singer. A lot of fans, if not all, are hoping this shoot is for the new album’s promotional images and photo booklet.

I love the theme and styling of this shoot, but Im not a fan of any of these official shots. Her makeup looks a little off shade wise, but that could be intentionally. I'd love to see the final shots
