The VI issue will totally change the career of one girl and my bet is on Jourdan.

Her look is easily adaptable and not too intimidating & foreign.
The all black issue will certainly not shape the the view of an entire industry, to expect that is actually a little bit naive.

We will probably see Jourdan everywhere next season and that's how far it's probably going to get. Which is better than not seeing a black model in most shows at all.

Sessilee's harshness will work for a very few clients.
I just don't think she looks good on the runway.

I don't see Arlenis doing really well outside of NYC.
She doesn't seem to be runway ready.
And I can't discuss the issues I have with her look here

. I dont get it?
Ummmmmmm its not. I am an avid fan of Jourdan and Chanel. If you go back into the Jourdan thread I even had an arguement with someone who was trying(or at least it seemed like it) to pit Chanel against Jourdan. This was before the FW 08 season rolled around. I champion all the black girls. I do not even like them sometimes, but since I am a sucker for underdogs (always have been) I always feel the need to support them, even if it is just by posting in their thread! Do not try to missinterpret my post. It is what it is...no shade! Just what I think will happen!

The girl Aminita is sooooo beautiful. She has very strong features, yet manages to look very soft

! it's really sad. i even know of a model who was told point blank from an agency that they only want skinny blondes ( and the representative that told her this was also afro- descent.) ironically, this was an agency that reps one of the few African american models who is actually able to book work despite these circumstances!
