Pinky..WOW!! So fabulous that your mom got one! How does it look? And yes, it's truly a limited edition where only 200 were made worldwide.

^ Where is the local BV your talking about? I would love to see one in person. I couldn't justify spending $6000 or whatever the price is on a bag I would rarely use. Unless it was a real good sale.

I really like this bright yellow bag from their S/S collection. I wonder if it will be in stores? I think the only problem is that it probably could not be carried in the Fall...

spiralsnowman...saw that in the BV Spring-Summer '06 lookbook. It's called "Bond". It will be in store after March 06 (I think) although the local store here will not be carrying any. The closest one can get this bag from around this neck of the woods if from Singapore where one can get it for SGD5,510.

Sorry out of topic, but Baghag21 I am from Malaysia too but currently living in the States. I am hoping to get the ball bag or the basic napa woven hobo before my husband gets transfer back to Malaysia in a few years. The price and selection here would be better than in KL I imagine . I wonder do they have fakes in Petaling Street?

anitalilac...Have seen many replicas of the regular BV napa woven hobo. Not in Petaling St. (KL's Chinatown & night market) though but generally many boutiques and/or dept. store stock bags which have a very similar design.

For greater rarity and uniqueness, perhaps the ball bag may be a better choice...

Ok, thanks for the input...we are planning a trip to Disneyland this spring break and I might check out the boutique either in San Francisco or South Coast Plaza mall . then go back and decide to order thru phone. It will save me sales tax

Hi there,

I am having one of those "wish i bought it" moments with the Bottega Veneta circle bag. They made it in chocolate brown and black. It was just plain cerca leather (deerskin i think) and not woven. I saw it at Saks about 3 months ago and now can't find it. Any ideas?

I just noticed another circle bag on ebay, made of patent black leather: 6845366018.

baghag - her jardin is a feast for the eyes.. shes so rough with it, but the flowers don't scrunch out of shape while the leaves have a wire inside so you can mold them yourself. it opens up like a doctors bag and is surprisingly soft making it very accessible and its the blue suede lining, with the silver tablet under the interior zipper pocket. i'll post a photo of hers! but i won't be able to take it at least until a week later

Hi everybody, i urgently need your kind help. I can't decide between the lace veneta bag in nocce (hazelnut) or the new nocce limone veneta (hazelnut woven with yellow all around the corner) or the normal plain woven in dark chocolate color.. *stresss*

the one that I actually like is the plain dark (small) but somehow when I try and compare with the new Nocce LImone, i prefer the nocce limone...the yellow lining somehow refreshing...but another problem they have not make it yet in Small size...anybody knows whether they are going to make it or not? and when? Any suggestion from you guys will be much appreciated. Thankyou once again.

I prefer the small woven to the larger size too. The large is just to big especially at the corners and since they are so flat it seems to add more attention to it. Did you ask the sa if they are going to make the limone in small? I like the vairations they do to the bags each season rather than the plain classic bag. The hazelnut is a beautiful color!

I love the little scalloped details they're doing this season. I was on saks last night and saw a really cute white tote with a scalloped top There was also an adorable matching wallet on bv.com.

Thx aspen, I have been asking BV sa but none of them know whether BV going to make the noce limone in small or not. I called the factory in Italy as well..OMG they don't really speak english. PLease2 if anybody knows anybody in BV and have the info please pm me. I will be very grateful.

So now the options are btween the small veneta bag in dark chocolate or large veneta in noce limone =( or small veneta with the lace/pleated leather all around the bag? Please2 help me to choose..i am too confused.

So on a complete impulse yesterday, I bought a black bag at Neimans that I think is called Vallauris - the SA said it was just called "double-handled frame bag" but on the BV side, there's a cotton bag in exactly the same shape, called Vallauris. Mine is from the "lace" collection - perfed woven leather, with lace detail around the edges and around the grommets. It's really beautiful. The impulse part is that I bought it in black - the only one they had at NM - and now I'm thinking a different color might actually be more useful for me. Does anyone know if this bag comes in any shade of brown? I know it's in white, but that won't work for me either. I haven't been in a BV boutique, and I can't find enough info on their website, and I'm just generally confused.
