A judge has ruled that Britney Spears’ conservatorship will extend for another six months to a year. This means Britney’s father, Jamie, still has control over her.

Under the ruling, Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears, will continue to receive a $16,000-a-month payment for his duties. Andrew Wallet — the co-conservator — was also granted a $174,569.10 payment for services rendered between July 2009 and November 2009.

The judge also authorized Britney’s conservatorship to kick out close to $300,000 in attorney’s fees.

But Britney Spears showed that celebrities are only human, when she stepped out with what appeared to be a coffee stain on her top.

The singer, who turned 28 last month, was spotted out shopping in Beverly Hills in a grey top that had two clear marks on it.

Could it have been from a spillage at her favourite coffee chain, Starbucks?

Unabashed, Spears continued to stroll around the Los Angeles district with her bodyguards as she indulged in what seems to have become one of her favourite pastimes.

Britney's unusual top appeared to be half cotton and half black lace, and she matched it with a pair of black jeans, sand-coloured boots and a huge black shoulder bag with gold tassles.

The singer returned to the U.S. last month after her Circus world tour came to an end, with the final leg taking place in Australia.

She dyed her hair from blonde to brunette just this week, leading to rumours she is attempting to procure a more mature look for boyfriend Jason Trawick.

According to reports the couple are now so serious that Trawick, 38, is making plans to propose to the singer.

Britney's agent allegedly told her ex-husband Kevin Federline that he loved her and was ready to settle down with her.

A source said: 'Jason not only professed his love for Britney, he told Kevin he absolutely adores his two sons.

'Jason acknowledged that Kevin will always be the boys’ real dad, but respectfully asked his blessing as a future co-parent.

'Jason has been spending lots of time with the boys to try and bond with them.

'Kevin couldn’t be happier, he trusts Jason. The guys agreed to be in close touch – and Britney’s thrilled knowing she’s now one step closer to her goal of marrying Jason and living happily ever after.'
