Burberry Prorsum S/S 07 Milan

Those PETA people really make me angry. How the hell do they get in? Really, I wan't to know, if I could do that, I would just keep quiet an enjoy they show.

It isn't impressive at all...
I like how Snejana looks

it's classic Burberry I think, nothing new, and not a trend setting
I don't like the sleeves at all, I think we should stop experimenting with sleeves

Some very nice stuff, but I don't like the green and blue shimmery stuff.

Anna W isn't looking to happy though.

Such is her nature

Wow, there are some really fabulous sleeves in this collection  Definitely one of the best, if not the best, I've seen so far.

It looks lovely, but I dont think I can imagine actually wearing it. Perhaps it looks to fantasy?

Some are quite classic-looking, if you separate the pieces in each ensemble, it can be very wearable ^_^

I dunno I am just getting a little tired of Burberry - its always the same. It never pushes and boundaries like some other revived labels. I find it extremely dull. I dare say there are nice pieces....but what does Burberry actually mean...?

Perhaps I am not the only one but I am getting a lot of humor in these clothes. It totally reminds me of cheesy late 60's clothing. The kind you would expect from a prim housewife or secretary. I think of Jackie O' but also astro turf lawns and 5 o'clock cocktails. I take this in as a postive, it's a really fun collection.

I have to say that I really liked it. It's a lot like Marc's collection, but I don't think that's a bad thing. The silhouettes look like a much more wearable take on last season's Balenciaga.

some of the shapes look a bit chloe like
the collection isn't bad, but christopher bailey can do so much better

that whole candy color story is getting big. first marc jacobs, now burberry and i can sense coming it from other designers as well.
metallics are definitely staying this spring as confirmed by burberry--wait until we see that gold padded coat in march in editorials all over.

definitely. especially with the spring '06 collection. just the way they are/were constructed is very "60's home sewing pattern". just certain types of darts and seams, as well as somewhat awkward proportions.

i don't think the customer gives a care, but chistopher bailey definitely sees that. so..yes, these are humorous clothes.

bailey always describes his collections as "fun", "whimsical", "british", etc.
has anyone else noticed that?

I really loved last season's collection. This one not so much. I'm still dying to get the classic trench

I like the rhinestones and I pretty much like this collection.
