Natalia and Gemma look like women??? Chronologically Jac may be younger than them when they did their campaigns (but not by much), and I am by no means a fan of the runways and magazine pages being dominated by teenyboppers, but if the issue is looking the part, she fits it as well as any models that are classified as baby dolls.God this is awful. I despise Jac for Calvin Klein. She is not Calvin, at all. Natalia Vodianova is Calvin Klein, Gemma Ward is Calvin Klein. There is something unique about the Calvin beauties but also something very refined about them.
Jac might be pretty, but she is merely a 15 year old girl and she looks even younger in print. Having children in advertisements, particularly for a house like Calvin Klein which has come to represent the modern, refined woman of today, is ludicrous to me.
Again I am not a fan of young'uns as a rule, but Calvin Klein's has been doing casting teens and tarting them up dating back to the 80s with Brooke Shields and in the 90s Kate Moss. I don't like it, but I have to grudgingly admit that the Calvin Klein models and ads are compelling, even the ones with dollish Natalia and Gemma. I can vent with the best of them about gawky teenagers getting paid six figures to play dress up, I just don't think this is the worst example of it.There is nothing directional about having a 15-year old girl in your ad campaign.
it! This is beautiful !
