Cate Blanchett or Nicole kidman?

Overall I'd say Cate, but some of Nicole's choices have been lovely.

nicole kidman's had a few stand-out fashion moments in my mind. namely:

L-R: Jean-Paul Gaultier, Tom Ford for YSL, Chanel, Emilio Pucci, Gucci, Chanel Haute Couture.​

cate's style is quirky and individual - i like it too - but i think i prefer nicole most of the time.

I think they're both beautiful and extremely talented but it sometimes feels like Nicole just wears stuff she's told to wear (like head-to-toe the same designer). Cate just seems to have more style in my opinion, so my pick is Cate.

I say Cate- I've always loved her because she is not 'conventionally' attractive, it just makes her more beautiful, if that makes sense. I love what she wears and she definately comes across as down to earth.

Nicole, on the other hand I used to like but she seems big-headed, botoxed to death and her clothing a little bland and predictable. Plus, she seems to think she can sing...she can't.

i used to adore Nicole but since she has taken to Botoxing her face and keeping her hair the pale shade, she hasn't grabbed me like she used to I must say I abhor the way the Botox gives her an expressionless look and makes her eyebrows pull in an even more severe arch and this is the opposite of what I think is stylish!

Cate has a glorious air of Old Hollywood about her which mingles with her intelligence and an uncanny ability to look unaffected and comfortable in whatever she is wearing...which is always fab !

It's hard for me to say because when I watch the red carpet before big events I always look to see what both of them are wearing. When Nicole wasn't at the Oscars this year it felt like something was missing on the red carpet. However this part year I feel like Cate has really come into her own style-wise and she always chooses something interesting, and colors that you don't expect to see so I'm going to go with Cate Blanchett

Cate!!! Everytime I see Kidman, the word "mannequin" comes to my mind.

anyway, i'm more biased towards Cate Blanchett because i've read about all the months ahead planning that goes into a Kidman 'showpiece.' compared to someone like Julia Roberts who for example chooses for e.g. her oscar gown (when she won the oscar) the day before...

But don't celebrities who are the eleventh-hour decision-makers more of a pain in the neck to everybody? They keep several designers working late, and it could all be for nothing.

Kidman wears couture often, and couture could take up to 400hrs or 500 hrs to make (e.g. Charlize Theron's Dior mermaid gown @ the Oscars this year, or Kate Hudson in shimmering Versace two years ago). That's the craft. But Nicole has been known to get 'exclusives' from designers, meaning other actresses are not permitted to choose dresses from the same collection that she chose from. That's less defensible, but then again she is Nicole Kidman.

if you had read some interviews with Cate, you'd know full of herself is the last term that should be used describing her. She's very down to earth.
