The problem is that people sum up Karl's career between 2004-2007, and what people think is Chanel is not Chanel but Karl (and that's huge!). What people mean Chanel being Chanel is the Chanel Karl made between those years. Great Chanel years.
This is unbelievable and it has never happened in fashion before.
Many people think some things are so Chanel and she never did it before. That didn't even happen with Marc Bohan, who was the most Dior-alike successor and was the Creative Director of the brand for 28 years (more than Karl at Chanel).
