Same here, I completely understand why she changed it back but wow that's going to be so weird. I was thinking how awkward it's going to be for her now too because her album is as Cheryl Cole. Poor girl that's going to be such a stinging reminder for the rest of her life. My personal opinion on celebrities getting married and changing their name is that they shouldn't, like legally of course you can have hubby's name on your id and credit cards etc but like publicly I would still go by what I'd always been known by, regardless of what my mail and passport now said. Like when Princess Grace got married no one ever called her Grace Grimaldi, she was always Grace Kelly (but of course officially she was Grimaldi, people just didn't see that etc)

My friend went to a taping of the auditions in London, she shook simon's hand she says cheryl is so small and skinny in real life, gorgeous too. they re-apply her makeup after every 2 audtionees

I went to one of the London auditions, and Cheryl got some serious boo'ing. Wasn't pleasent actually. Louis and Simon turned round and interacted with the audience between filming and such, but Cheryl kept forward at all times, which just made me people start yelling asking what was wrong with her. She is actually tiny when you see the judges sat down, it's mostly just hair you can make out!

Poor Connie Huq however got the biggest boo's ever. Not fun.

I think people just expected her to interact with them a bit? I mean, the queuing process to get into the X Factor auditions as an audience member is unreal, it's like four or more hours waiting time.. so I suppose the least they expect is for Cheryl to turn round and acknowledge them! But she didn't really seem to want to know.

Maybe it was an off day, I know quite a few people who've worked with her and met her, and they all say she's a really pleasant, nice girl, and a bit quiet. But I do sort of get it. I was a tad peeved I'd got to the auditions and never even got to see Cheryl from the front! Just her hair from the back!

The auditions are filled with 3000 members of the public, and she didn't so much as turn around and wave, or smile... she just came in, sat down, and faced forward for the entire time, never once acknowledging the audience, and people who'd lined up for hours to come...

God that last outfit was bad, and it kind of hurts my eyes to look at those shoes I'm not going to lie...

and ChazDesigns I must say calling her a 'Major British Fashion Icon' may be going a little too far - she sometimes get her style bang on, but most of the time it's not co-ordinated properly and looks cheap.

The thing is with Cheryl being called a "fashion icon", it doesn't necessarily mean that she always looks good, but instead that she's been influential on the general public. We here at TFS know whats up, but many others do not.
