Chloe 'Silverado' Bag

I am new to the silverado I had a question for you guys. I am on the waitlist for the Chloe Paddington, but my SA just called me to tell me they got a black Silverado in python and if I'd be interested. My problem is that I've only got like 3 more bags I can buy this year. I went a little crazy in the past few weeks and have decided to limit myself to 3 more bags...all slots are filled right now. Just waiting for them to come in. So my question is. Should I get the silverado instead of the paddington that is coming? Is the quality better? I've heard some stories about chipped locks and such with the paddy. Are there any quality issues with the silverado? Any help would be great, thanks!

Edit: btw, its a python silverado doctor bag, I am not too sure but I think there is a diff between that and the regular.

Noriko -- I'd say stick with the paddington. Although I love the silverado, I dont so much in the doctor shape and I dont really like the black python either.

What are the other 2 bags your getting?

ooo okay I'm going to go check out the silverado after I get out of class, provided its still there hehe. I am leaning toward sticking with the paddington though.

As for the three bags, they were supposed to be the paddington (black), a white leather dior saddle w/asian flower embroidery, and one of the new spy bags thats supposed to be coming in by the end of the year

I am probably going to end up cheating though, all the private sales are coming up so I'll probably snag some sale bags and pretend they dont count

My SA said its very possible that they'd be getting some of the s/s 06 spy bags in sometime before the end of the year. I am hoping that the gold comes in, and am possibly interested in the metallic white There are some other ones too, check out the spy thread! A lot of people have been hearing about new colors, not sure which ones will come out when though.

Looks fake to me. The Chloe embossed font is too large, the leather doesn't look right, and the shape is also a little off.

great taste, noriko! i second guessgirl's rec - i like the python regular silverado, the doctor style not so much.. but i think someone on this thread (?maybe socal) had the doctor in leather and really liked it - she said it was easier to hang on the shoulder.. but take a look and let us know what you think!

While I agree that the doctor style fits better on one's shoulder than the regular silverado, I like the regular style so much better. There's something about that straight line across the top of the bag where the handles attach that is not so aesthetically pleasing.

hey all, didn't know where else to ask this but this seems best cause it's where all the Chloe girls hang
does anyone have the silverado boots and are they comfortable? I am close to buying a pair but they look so high and so I don't wanna just get them just because they look cool. also, do they fit loose enough for those with not-so-skinny (ahem) calves? you can PM me if you don't want to get off topic...

I had a pair of the chloe 2 tone slouchy boots which I ended up returning, they are pretty similar so I'm guessing the fit is pretty much the same. They were relitivley comfortable, but if you have even slightly wide feet I'd recommend getting a half size to a full size up. On my large calfs, they were very snug on super skinny jeans. If you plan to wear them alone or with tights though, you should be ok

I actually like it. I dont think it's better than the original sachel, but I like it a lot better than the doctor bag.

It was going on my spring wishlist (but in another color), but not for $2700. I wonder why it's about $600 more than their other python bags.
