Finally I've just received the Chloe Silverado Python in brown (two tones) after spent several midnight phone calls to Chloe boutique. And now that my new baby is right here next to me. I the softness of the leather and the python and the colour is much more beautiful than how it looks in the pictures.
I placed the order on the 3th (midnight) and received the bag this morning ...so so...happy with the bag.

Thanks all for helping me decide to get this brown instead of waiting for the summer brown.

Back to the topic of the "Chloe" emboss on the fastening strap...

Have done some intense scrutinising of the python silverados on ebay. Have observed that the bags from the TFS-identified authentic sellers, as per earlier posts, do have the "Chloe" emboss. The difference is that these are small and less obvious. Then, there are those with bigger "Chloe" emboss and more obvious.... :

For those with the bag, is the "Chloe" emboss fairly small and insignificant? The ebay gold silverado which I posted earlier has a fairly big, deep and obvious "Chloe"...

Hi baghag. I wouldn't call the "Chloe" emobossing insignificant, but it is dainty.

I do agree with you that the ebay gold silverado which you posted earlier has an embossing which is suspiciously big.

Check out dudeiloveyou's auction for the large natural silverado. She has a photo of the strap with the embossing "Chloe" on it. From the photo, it seems to be the same size as the one on mine.

Is there anyone rather petite, say about 5'2" to 5'3" who has one of the Large silverados? Am thinking a Large for the next season...

Would appreciate any thoughts, pictures etc of a Large Silverado on Lady Petite....

Has anyone who lives in the US ever run into a problem with US customs when they've had a bag sent here from Europe? If the declared value on the box is more than $2000 will the bag be held up in Customs? Any insights will be appreciated. Thanks!

the large size looks like a duffel on anyone, even a supermodel...
cougess, check the shopping threads for details, but yes it will be held up in customs and you'll be taxed, unless you're extremely lucky.

Klow-Chloe, That really is a beautiful bag. Initially I wasn't too keen on the Chloe Python Silverados (my snake phobia!) but after seeing your awesome photos, I want one in Brown! Congrats again sweetie!

vintage - the scarf is from local Australian brand called 'Oroton'.
