Sasha ran into someone forcing her to walk side-by-side with the girl and I think Stam jumped in and gave a look. Beautiful dresses ravaged by rude behavior!:rofl:

JR, which outfit was Rachel wearing ? I can't find her :ninja: Also, when did Anna go ? :D

And wow, Natasha definitely knows how to work that runway... she's the best girl when it comes to catwalking, so expressive ^_^

The music was good, however Jeremy Healy is getting so lazy with soundtracks at Dior!
I liked the first song, but...it's just SO FRUSTRATING! I've totally lost all hope in Jeremy Healy.

What ever happened to the GENIUS soundtrack's of 2004. SS 04 HC's opening Beyonce track was stunning...FW 04 HC's mix of classical and 50's rock was masterful...FW 04 RTW mash up of Sinnerman and I Feel Love was perfect...Galliano SS 04 was so energetic....Galliano FW 04 was one of the best runway soundtrack's I've ever heard.

Jeremy?....WHAT'S GOTTEN IN TO YOU!!!!????? SNAP OUT OF IT!!!!!! You're a genius!!!!! What's up with this crap you've been putting out lately!!!!????

One can only hope he'll do something cool at Galliano. I doubt it though.:innocent:

I agree! I was honestly thinking that Healy would do something amazing at Dior only to be let down.

interesting......i guess the looks were going too fast for style.com's photographers??

they skipped a lot of them - oh well that's why i love dior for putting up the full videos

and yea healy's soundtracks have been *yawn* lately...i remember a few years back obsessing over the exclusive mixes he would do, now he just plays tracks

I am dumbfounded as to why so many people don't like this collection. You want wearable clothes in neutral colors? Then why are you looking in the Christian Dior thread? This collection is pure Galliano - loud colors, over-the-top embellishment, and top-notch construction.

Perhaps many of you were looking to see more of what he did for his spring collection? I personally hated that collection - it was not Galliano at all. I think Cathy Horyn described the differences best in her review:

from nytimes.com
More and more we look to designers who can truly design. Not embellish, not trick us with irony. People recognize the difference. This is why John Galliano’s collection today for Dior stood out. Last season, he gave his bosses what they thought they wanted: nice, salable suits.
Well, the Dior show should be a lesson to all fashion executives: Don’t tell a genius how to design — if you’re lucky to have a genius. “I got more space,” Mr. Galliano said with supreme tact, meaning creative freedom, as Bernard Arnault, the chairman of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, came backstage to congratulate him.
“There’s no one like him,” Mr. Arnault said.
Indeed. Mr. Galliano took the elements of his January couture show — the mouth-watering colors, the glamorous cutting and draping — and turned them into dynamic ready-to-wear. Against Michael Howells’s stairway-to-heaven set, the fur-doused coats and suits (with origami details or splashes of silvery embroidery) enticed and agitated. There wasn’t a dud among the 58 outfits.

A magnificent collection from Galliano. Definitely one of the best of the entire season.

i love it..so decadent, elegant and feminine
the colours and embrodiery are beautiful
it's a more accessible haute couture (as style.com said)

I don' t like this at all. I was hoping he would move away from the theme he had for HC :(
For me its something like that , I think the that theme has been done to death already and the show posted on the site is.......its just not right ( the music, people leaving before the camera's go off right in front of the camera- I see you Mrs. Wintour and the mess that the models made of the end trying to get off the stage it was like watching little kids, did they not go over that ten times?), the clothes look tons better in the pictures. But it just looked like a bunch of prom dresses to me with a some high fashion flair, I grew to love the last collection so much after I intially did not but for some reason i dont see my self growing to like this anymore than I do now. I guess I just have to wait until next season.......:( but I do like Dior alot dont get me wrong:blush:

i absolutely adore his collection, so wonderful. so inspirational. i think it can be totally wearable depending on how you choose your outfits. the detail is amazing! i loooved the oragami details from haute couture, brilliant! and the purses were absolutely delicious! wonderful! i do agree his work is really string: you either love it or you don't, but that's what makes it so interesting: he's not afraid to push boundaries, even in pap, which is a bit rarer.
