I really don't understand the hype , could anyone explain it to me?

Don't lose sleep over this. If you don't get it, you don't get it. I think Dior/John Galliano is the most exciting thing in fashion but if you don't, if you can't get past the make-up, ok, no big deal.

Big dresses + high shoes + lots of makeup + special event + celebrities + supermodels + press + Suspense = Dior FW 07 HC

the most of the HC are like that, Versace did it in a more spectacular way,
supermodels at their prime, vip celebrities, big dresses ... all of that minus the suspsense, there was never a hype like this. it's like too much, every Galliano show is the same exagerated thing. Gianfranco Ferre was way better designing for Dior, IMO.
