Christian Louboutin Clichy pump

in Paris we Have THE BOUTIQUE Christian Louboutin in the gallerie Véro-Dotat...Une adresse incontournable du 1er arrondissement. I don't think there is another CL shop anywhere else

Paris rules fashion

yes there is actually two CL boutiques in Paris as well as one in London and possibly one in NYC as well. The one in london is on Motcombe I think?

yeah but the one in the 7e arrondissement is less interesting..even though its 5 minutes by foot from my appartment...

Bump to keep this from falling off the board into oblivion.

[Really need more than 4 pages on this board]

I'm a little leary too, not because of my size 10 boats, but because of that dangerously high (and very sexy) stiletto. I can do 4" with ease, but throw in another inch and I'm wobbly all over again. I have one pair of non-platform 5" heels and the pressure on my forefoot is killer. I still want to at least try the Clichy on though. Maybe it will be a pleasant surprise!:D They are a seriously sexy shoe.

Ok, but how do I edit my post? (the picture is a one that Brian posted (his 10,565th post) on 07/02/2005)

Well, we who wear 10's are in luck, since the pitch of a 5" heel is less for us. But better yet, look how short the toe of the Clichy is (the part of the front that is flat on the ground). It looks to me that the pressure would be greatest just behind the base of your toes, not on the ball of the foot. I have some platforms where the toes turn up like crazy (sorry, no pic! ), and it shifts the pressure nicely. Vivienne Westwood heeled pirate boots do the same toe turn-up.

I am simply stunned at the utter gorgeousness of those Python clichys!

Those have got to be the world's most beautiful shoes.

Beautiful!!

^^Thanks shoesexy for the great pictures of Renee wearing "Pin Up".;)

Karma to you

My lady has 5" Clichy Pin Up's in a size 40.5 (which I think is around a US 9) and finds them comfortable. As a well made shoe they support the foot much better than cheaper shoes of a similar height.

Other than that, it's just a case of practice, practice, practice.
