^ have you tried calling louboutin nyc?

i think they're closed today

i've called practically every store that carries CL and no luck with the 5"...so I'll try looking for the 4"

^ the only 5" clichy i've ever seen on ebay was an embroidered denim and an embroidered satin version :( ... i have yet to see patent!

i think the embroidered clichy looks kinda tacky. it's TOO much going on there. so i called one of the NY stores and they have the pigalle but not the clichy....only that i range from 37-38 and they only have a 37 so i'm not sure if i should get it since they're so true to size. well...they're coming back in the fall so i shall wait....just going to call the other NY store tomorrow coz they're closed today =(

i have yet to see patent!

I've seen several. I think I even posted a link to one or more here. They are NOT reasonably priced though.

Problem is sellers don't always use the proper style name, which makes searching harder.

Like this one:

7765902075

The seller doesn't use Clichy or Pin-Up or any style name for that matter, so if you search for "Clichy" you woudn't find this one.

This is only a 4" version, but I have found 5 inchers the same way.

called ALL the CLs finally and found the 5" pigalle. i will settle for that for now....but definately going to keep my eyes open in the fall for the clichy!

Louboutin on eBay.

Recently, while surfing eBay, I found item 776951831. I didn't notice any "Clichy" pumps listed but there are some other styles available.

(Oh, the price of the wedge sandals-)

P.S. Disclaimer: This isn't a plug for the seller. I just thought the listing (i.e. prices) was fascinating.

Hello...

Just thought I'd add my 2p worth about walking in heels. I got some Zanotti 5" heels that I wore to a 'feminine' party last summer. They went so adorably with the structured pink and black 80's cocktail dress I borrowed. I managed perfectly in them for nearly 24 hours straight and I'm not usually a stiletto wearing boy!

Ben...

ps... I love the Clichys but agree that they would be hard to walk in with such set back straight heels. I bought my girlfriend some proper 80's Faith heels that are 4.5" with proper set under the foot heels and she says they are the comfiest heels she owns.

Here's a phot of my Giuseppe Zanotti heels

they're not impossible to walk in, but the 5" super thin backset heel really isn't the funnest or most comfortable to walk in at all.... not to mention louboutin's complete lack of arch support. they totally need insoles.

The style of the shoes is called "Christian Louboutin Clichy pump"

The pointy toe ones are called "Christian Louboutin Pigalle"
