I've been good during sales season, nothing has really caught my eye. The only two I am really loving for F/W are the Lady Page and Piros--a CL boot that might actually fit my calf?

I've got a question for the experts here. Are the Louboutins sold here authentic or not:

I'm very wary of ebay, but it's a goldmine of CL's. And what should I be looking for to determine fakes? I know CL's always have red soles. I know there's an "Is this bag authentic?" thread, but I didn't see one for shoes.

^^Their CLs look authentic. They're all styles that have been on sale.

Ooh, really? I did notice that I saw some of the Miu Miu's there on sale, at least at Bergdorf Goodman. I like the patent t-straps, but I'm not sure about the sizing, so I'm going to post about that in the sizing thread.

Does anyone here have the t-straps or are any of you familiar with them?

^^Are you talking about the Coxinelle 100? I had a pair in red. I would say they run TTS if you have narrow feet, 1/2 size up if you have wider feet. They run similar to the Pigalle 100.

Yep, the Coxinelle 100's. My feet aren't just especially narrow or wide, just pretty much proportional. As of now, I really don't think I could do anything taller than 100 mm anyway. I need to work my way up.

I'm thinking of getting some Louboutins for my 18th birthday in 2 months time as a bit of an investment piece I can wear again and again. I'd definitely want black, either plain leather or patent and not too high, preferably less than about 4.5". Can someone recommend me some styles that might be suitable? I had a look in Selfridges but there's so many style with different names and numbers I'm kinda confused!

Try simple pumps, they are the round shape ones, usually 10cm , and they come in 8cm as well.
Or you can try the pigalle they are the pointy ones with the thin heel( the classic louboutin) in black they come in 10cm and 12cm...i have them in 12cm it was a struggle at first but now i am a pro lol i've inserted those slips inside and wow i can dance in them too!!
the very prives are classics as well, peep toes with a hidden platform but those are usually 12cm with the platform included.

The first louboutins i bought my sister were simple pumps in blue, she loved them and still wears them
