Thank you rosalynn, Jelly, and Milada! Haha, honestly, I'm not sure where I will be wearing them. Somewhere with clean floors for sure, hehe. Otherwise, I don't mind just having them to stare at all day. :)

if sex and the city was to run season 7...that would be a shoe carrie would wear B)

A LBD is always a safe bet! People will just be in awe with those shoes--wearing something simple will compliment not take away from them.

:) thanks ladies for your lovely comments. I'm usually in black so, i don't mind some pop on my feet.

Here are some quick pics of my new Deva shoes that I got on the weekend! These shoes a super comfy! I am hoping to wear them to a wedding I am going to this coming weekend.

They aren't the best pics but I only had a sec to throw on the shoes.

awesome! I've been wanting them in black for so long! they look great too!

hi ladies--haven't posted in awhile--so here is my latest purchase. HP in shocking pink--they are so comfortable! the color is crazy but i love it!

guccigal--those deva's are amazing on you. :woot: they are on my radar!!!

OMG!!! HOTTTTT!!!! They look amazing on u!!!!

LTM, Taupe? Isn't Taupe a tan/brownish color? Those look more pewter or silver.

I always thought taupe was a brownish gray. The auction described them as taupe, but the box says gray. However, I compared them to another pair I have and the color looks exactly the same, but the box says taupe. The color looks more brown or gray depending on the light, and my camera doesn't really do the best job of capturing light.

That is a beautiful shoe, you're totally right mistress_f

I just had a look on SFA and it's showing up as being GBP 543.33 on pre-order when set to UK, and if I set to US it says USD 855 which sounds reasonable to me. Are you viewing a European version? It's strange, maybe you need to email them as it sounds like an error - or they know just how much you really want those shoes and that you'd pay anything to have them!!

yeah the price changed. i guess it was a temporary error? it just made no sense lol. it's about 665 euros now (and 855 dollars like you've said)

Glad the price has corrected itself for you. Are you going to buy them mistress_f?

mhh i dont know. i NEED to try them on first, mostly cause the heel is so high i need to 'feel' them. i rarely buy extremely high heeled shoes online as i need to see if i'll be able to wear them... hopefully they'll have them in stock around here and i'll be able to buy them.

also, i never bought anything from saks as i fear customs taxes will be crazy. i'd rather get them in europe :D

Jellylicious LOVE the color of those shoes!

Congrats on the anemones Laureen! I have never seen that color combo, its great.

I've always wondered: what is the TRUE VALUE of Louboutins/Manolos/luxury shoes. $800 for a shoe is an exorbitant fee to pay. Are we paying for the material? The construction? The design? No matter which way you look at it, it seems the price > the true value.

Is the price purposefully jacked up b/c of the brand name?
