empaulio - you might try calling Browns or Matches and ask if they can recommend anyone who does zipsoles....there is a cobbler in my old neighbourhood but it's pretty out of the way

I have a general rule that there should be no more than two straps for any given pair of mary janes, because most shoes with multiple straps are atrocious. I don't love the Louboutin triple-strap mary janes (Post #63), but they are probably the nicest multi-strap mary janes I've ever seen.

regarding the invitation... Louboutin has always said to be fascinated by exotic dancers and got most of his inspiration from the goings-on in the pigalle in paris... it doesn't surprise me that he would use such an invitation. He did, after all, collaborate with david lynch for that very racy "fetish" exhibition. I think the adjectives classy and elegant are more fitting for manolo blahnik (for example)than Louboutin
