I want to buy my first Chanel bag . I want a small-ish bag, can be worn on shoulder bag, goes with most things, looks beautiful (well nearly all Chanel's do ) and doesn't cost too much. I am only 14 so I don't want to spend loads . What bags would you suggest for a first time Chanel bag?

I saw this bag at south coast plaza, its kinda off white. I don't really remember the exact price, $1250? Don't remember, but it's quite small...

LOVE it! i think that's the bag my mom would want in spring she loves those CCs (now i know where i get my logo obsession from ) it looks lambskin but it's hard to tell from this pic.

LOVE the trench coat too (swoon!)

the jersey flap was around 1700 in my fall book i got from the website. you could call 18005500005 and ask the chanel associates for help. they were able to tell me the prices of some of the cruise line...mention the pic is on the website, they can access it

Piglet, so that bag is not the 2.55, it's the jersey flap? Also, is it new for this upcoming spring? If so, I WANT one, the same one, white w/gold hardware. That trench is amazing as well. Is that also new for this upcoming spring? Wouldn't mind that either .

the jersey flap bag is a variation of the 2.55...it's the same "style", the "classic flap bag" as the labels term it. there's a denim one too! i wish i could post the pics from chanel.com here but i don't know how! i saw the denim one and the jersey one in the NM boutique. both were lovely, but both more expensive than the classic leather 2.55, i guess cos they're seasonal. they had the chain strap with lambskin leather (soooo soft) and the inside is also lambskin. they usually run around 1700?

according to my lookbook, the camera quilted pic above is 1195. the denim flap 2.55 is 1695. the jersey is 1725.

there's a metal belt that has the exact same chain strap as the reissue! it's called the "sunburst" belt and is 925, it has a sun with a pearl in the middle attached to the chain strap. i didn't notice that before...i'll have to see if it's on the website.

i think someone said there would be a white/cream 2.55 for the spring? i hope so i loooooooooove my classic black one.

looks like it's white. i'm guessing you saw the jersey bag on the chanel website, balbabe? the beige one with the open flap? it's the same size as the classic flap/2.55 bag. it's pretty. the leather inside is soooo soft.
