The Cloak show wrapped up a few hours ago, I'm surprised that there isn't already a thread up!

I'm not so into the pattern of this jacket but the pants are crazy! Is that a crucifix on the shirt?

I am loving this so far, the collared jacket is amazing, and the sweaters (and hoodies) are great. Can't wait to see more...

^the pants are great too, but I am missing some of the more "military" look from previous collections. Still, I already like it much better than the spring line, but not as much as fall 05.

Some of the pieces are interesting but overall I don't find it anywhere near as consistent in quality as the S/S 06 line.

I agree (that CFDA fashion fund should have been given to him instead of that stupid group (of I dunno what). i cant even remember thier names.
He is the Lone Voice coming out of America in that upper echelon of great 21st century menswear designers (heidi, raf, alexandre)

Great everyday stuff that I'd love to have in my wardrobe. I don't even miss color anymore, I see only grey, gris, grisaille, fog, dove, anthracite.....

They did give him $50,000 so that's pretty cool.

This collection is very strong and shows Alexandre's ability to produce good clothes with an interesting design every season with little to none faltering. That said, I don't like this as much. Where his military minimalism exercises it's aesthetic, it's done a bit too blandly and the style becomes tired. It's more approachable and I don't know if that is a good thing or not. I'll really have to look at this more before I say anything else. I do know it's good so I can say that much, but I don't know if it is great, yet.

so far i love, love it! the models look great ( the styling, especially the hair!), the whole presentation is always nice...and i love how alexandre puts those androgynous lovelies on the runway! omahya:woot: she looks great. thank you verb, hope to see more real soon!

looks great, though a little more uptown IMO
the suits and the jackets are incredible, and the pants amazing...

I like most of the pieces so far. The tailoring is very sharp.
