I can't remember when US Vogue put a Disney star on its cover. Vogue it's pretty adult mag, I don't know if Disney would like to pick Vogue to promote their remakes, live actions and eternal sequels. I wanted Emna Stone during the Cruella days and she didn't score any Vogue. BUT Marvel and Lucas Films stars got their issues.

I don't know if Halle will get the cover or not, but I will say the movie is directed by Rob Marshall, whose leading ladies often score a Vogue cover to promote their film. He's directed a total of 6 feature films (not counting Little Mermaid) and 4 of them have been promoted with a Vogue cover.

So - it's inevitable to have something related to the coronation for the May edition of British Vogue?

I find it rather interesting that it was Edward who wrote on behalf of King Charles for this year's TIME 100 most influential people: King Charles: The 100 Most Influential People of 2023.

I absolutely maintain that man wants his Knighthood, he won't be stopping at an OBE, and if he can manage to get it before some of his 'dear friends' do, it'll probably seem all the sweeter.

I'll probably be glad to read any magazine that doesn't mention the Coronation - it hasn't even happened yet, and I'm sick of hearing about it, although I suppose it could be worse, I haven't had to wait seventy-four years for the day to happen.

I wonder if UK Vogue will ever go down to ten issues a year, like so many other titles? I wouldn't ever want it to, but I wonder if it's been considered?

My guess was it’s for a big-budget advertising campaign like Michael Kors. She’s with I&V and choreographer Stephen Galloway.

Lachlan Bailey recently posted a story on his Instagram also with Emmanuelle Alt and Sienna Miller. I was wondering what that may be for… another campaign? Alt only works for a select few magazines nowadays like Holiday, Self Service and M Le Magazine du Monde.

What a slap in the face, to relegate the star of The Little Mermaid,(which is poised to be a blockbuster) to a digital Vogue cover.
Edward did her dirty, and she should have just ignored the existence of this entire shoot.

No idea, though Vogue Spain has an editorial with Jan Baiboon in France this month. I don't know if that warrants her a cover.

Halle's UK shoot doesn't strike me as something ever intended to be a cover. And if it was, talk about low effort. The styling is tragic, only saving grace of the photos is that she's beautiful. Teen Vogue at best.
