Cover #1 of 6 with Megan Thee Stallion by Shaniqwa Jarvis:

Cover #2 and #3 of 6 with Sydney Sweeney by Stuart Winecoff:

Cover #4 with Léa Seydoux by Estelle Handnia:

Cover #5 with Precious Lee by Emmanuel Sanchez Monsalve:

Is Precious cosplaying 90s Faith Evans???

Why does every cover look like ad for Forever 21...??? It’s tragic and hilarious that this brand of clueless and desperate pandering to the commoners was once the visionary of Vogue Paris.

Last issue was much better...in terms of covers at least... but yeah I'm not sure about CR anymore...random talents and random contents...if you are not gonna push the envelope at least give us something good to look at or to collect...so far nothing...

Precious Lee and Meghan's covers are best. Precious' cover and Ed reminds me of 90s trendsetting female rappers like Lik Kim. Lea Seydoux seems to be another Alicia Vikander, what you see in film doesn't translate to print. Then they made Sydney look like someone that was just rescued from a sinking ship. I like the 90s vibe in Gigi's story but the wardrobe feels a little flat.

Creative Direction…Carine? I’m not so sure.

I love Carine! That’s why I’m so tough on her and that’s why I’m so disappointed by everything she is doing lately. All I see is inconsistencies and lack of standards.

CR fashion book can be great but it seems like it has never had a direction. There’s no identity and yet, we are at an interesting time for magazines. The rules have totally changed in the industry and it seems like they aren’t taking advantage of that, despite having a name like Carine Roitfeld attached to it.

Who buys magazines? People like us in TFS. People who loves fashion and also some people in the industry. The goal was never to appeal to the mainstream because no matter what, their revenues comes from the annonceurs.

Like it or not but MAS’s Mastermind is pretentious but it has an identity and you get a sense of who is their target.

Instead of Megan The Stallion, give us an iconic model photographed by a new talent or the contrary. Elevate the standards and speak to a real fashion aficionado. And maybe go back to your roots that are more Parisian than Hollywood.

Carine cannot do Hollywood but she is pushing it. There are so many people good at it! Do Parisian chic. Introduce new talents but make them work with legends. Elevate their standards.

I mean Megan the Stallion styled by Law Roach and photographed by a not so big name is a total non-event. Megan the Stallion styled by Carine Roitfeld and photographed by Arthur Elgort is actually more interesting already just to imagine.

You want to challenge Law Roach? Book him with Mario Sorrenti and Natasha Poly!

Honestly i don't mind getting a CR fully styled by Carine but only if she gets the best of herself....i don't mind if it's a vanity project (almost every magazine is a little bit of that) but make the best offing vanity Project...and this is not the way...

I hate to say this but sometimes when people get "older" they own way to keep "young" is to attach themselves to the artists of the moment,etc....and Carine is better than that....there was a momen between issue 5/6 that it was slightly better....

I love Carine! Oui! and also I think this is very interesting and amazing!
