I went for a short run along Lake Michigan last night. I'm working on training for a 5K

I changed my routine slightly today.
Still have the same basic structure.
Today, warm up, stretch.
Eight sets of dumbbell bench press. Second set of four sets increased weight, with negative reps' thrown in for that little something extra.

Four sets of pull overs.
Four sets of dumbbell flys.


i re-read what i wrote, and i didn't mean for it to sound like i was mocking yoga (if that is how it came across...) it is a test of whole body fitness, and i was not able to maintain positions as long as everyone else. i agree, this is a valuable component to the exercise regiment and a practice that i should incorporate regularly.
