Daily Exercise

my home exercise routine:
legs, arms, back, belly.
i use pilates matt, pilates ball, weights and my own body weight.
this whole exercise routine takes 30minutes and i feel wonderful. great when i have busy day or for morning exercise.

50 mins of cardio.
does anyone know of any effective ways of targeting lower body fat? i reeeally don't want to lose anymore from my upper body, the annoyances of being pear-shaped!

There's no way of targeting which fat to burn. You can target different muscles and train them, but you can't pick places which you want to burn. It's mostly determined by genetics. Just keep doing cardio (or HIIT! :) ) and the fat will eventually burn off. :)

fantastic, thanks for your help! :)

This morning:
20 min treadclimber
15 min elliptical
Bicep, tricep, chest - press 3 sets of 10

Does anyone know how much a week a beginner should exercise?

I know what to do, but i have no idea how much i should do...

^ I would suggest doing at least twice a week. You don't want to overdo yourself so maybe schedule to work out on Tuesday then take a break Wednesday then workout again Thursday. Taking breaks in between helps the body recover from the past workout so you can perform optimally at your next workout.

Also don't try to push yourself out of your limit. For example, if you can only go 4.0 mph on the treadmill, stick that range then once you've gotten used to it a little you can gradually increase the mph. Same goes for weights.
