That twinning (or now "triplet-ing" or even "quadruplet-ing") look preview strategy is genuinely one of the lamest PR moves I've seen in all my years in the industry. What the hell are they thinking? Don't they have that industry veteran French lady who used to be at BV as Chief Comms Officer? For sure she should know better? What even is this? And Vitale posting a screencap of his whatsapp convo from Donatella asking for the look? This is hell.

Oh wow okay. I could see it if it was A LOOK, but because it's not, it's reading as forced. If they had designed something genuinely strong, unique, and fresh, this stupid PR gimmick wouldn't be necessary. Clearly his vision has no legs right now. I am mad.

......of kissing *** and being fabio´s pet sure!!!!! ...like i said dario never was known inside miu miu to be a great person of style or taste he was there as politics work at prada ....they fired a long time studio director because he was old etc and would not do as told etc ..... fabio put dario in place because he was well behaved boy and fabio could control him....... it's not so long ago fabio left .

Ancora also similar had his place because they promoted him from inside as restructuring within the team from outside went wrong etc etc and he was never known to be great style maker but again a person that followed orders well etc and was loyal.

its a classic case of associated hype and success that put a shine on people that contributed little to creative genius of a brand but have good job titles on paper and proximity to the creative directors thus for outside recruiting management looks like they are getting a piece of the magic formula.

it matters how you can sell yourself as well as being part of a success of a brand to outsiders

I would have maybe liked the "twinning outfits" gimmick if they had given Seyfried the same striped shirt but with a different colorway. Just a little bit of variation and creativity might have helped and been appreciated...

I’m very happy Dario Vitale is moving from whatever Donatella was doing at Versace. and I must say I did not much about him apart from what I started reading here on TFS.
it’s been years Donatella’s been more hits than misses and in fact what we need from new appointed designers is a new approach and vision for the brand. yes, respecting the house codes but also allowing them to be original and contemporary. the guy doesn’t even have a collection out yet, let him show his ideas and most important, let him evolve.

we all know Tisci should've been Versace’s creative director but an alleged clash of titans between Mrs Versace and himself, ruined this dream of mine (and some of us here).

so, let’s see what he brings. Versace can more than sequins and dresses with slits.
