WOW! I saw the Bowie exhibit at the V&A in London a couple of weeks ago, and I am still stunned by all that it offers. It's HUGE, and the fashion is fabulous! Oh, to see that netted Ziggy outfit with the hands up close. And as you walk through the exhibit, his music is playing the whole time, so you bop along. I saw his hand-written lyrics and sang to them; it was magic! And there are all these rooms for his various endeavours: there's a room that plays the films in which he's acted; there's an entire room devoted to his Berlin trilogy, including the paintings/art he did; there's a whole room of Bowie fashion; there's a wall of photos of him in all his guises; there is a room dedicated to his music videos - and there is one room that has floor to ceiling Bowie concerts and you can sit in there in the dark and be blown away with other Bowie fans.
IT IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!
If you are near London while this exhibit is on, I implore you to GO GO GO! You will not be disappointed!
