I love the Crystal Castles cover, perhaps because I'm a fan. Also loving the Touched by Youth but I do admit to having a problem with the lack of diversity.Great casting though, Tati is one of my favorites.

Totally disagree.
Of course the new DAZED is now in praise of the REAL talented artists, the one's that really deserve a cover display, no longer the fashion models that besides their fabricated beauty there's nothing to be told.
I applaud DAZED's awakening to reality!

^'Alternative' magazines easily become as predictable in their own way as the mainstream ones do. Just because, for example, such a magazine gives space to people who wouldn't get printed in other publications doesn't automatically mean that coverage is worth reading or in any way inspired. It's a good to provide an alternative, but it doesn't make the magazine inherently superior for doing so - it still has to do what it does well.
