albert what blazer is that youre wearing?

It's a leather blazer from Follow Me. One of my most prized DH possessions. Chanel leather, 3-d crafted so it doesn't lay flat but wraps the contours of the body.

As for the early collection pieces in my closet:

-Solitaire charcoal 3 button suit
-Reflection white dress shirt
-Reflection white dress shirt with embroidered plaques and shields
-Red pleated black polo
-Reflection distressed lambskin leather jacket
-Red black combat boots

VOTC prototype wool sleeveless turtleneck w/ leather zipper epaulettes (supposedly a M and I wear XS; if it was any tighter, I couldn't wear it )
Strip resin-coated (or whatever) bleu clair claw mark jeans
Strip stud & chain belt (thanks Drexl)
S/S 05 leather hi-top sneakers (I wish they were Strip grommet sneakers)

Click pictures to enlarge...

Wow u look great! did you wear your dior true to size?

They're just the classic whiskered/distressed blue jeans. Nice, solid jeans. Definitely authentic.

Thanks man.. but thing is they don't look skinny to me.. and these are 17cm .... or that's the way it is??

^Agreed.

Changing topic a bit, sorry :flower:

Safilo is replacing my DH sunglasses that have a few defects (bought them cheap at an outlet). They'll give me a pretty large discount on any DH eyewear.

Anyone know where I can find DH eyeglasses? I've looked everywhere, I've found models that I love, but all the sites have the same ones...I want to see all my choices.

Can anyone help?

Thx :flower:
Sorry to be annoying...but anyone?

The whiskered/claw mark jeans fit large and are meant to be a bit baggier than some other jeans. They fit kinda looser toward the top, but the leg past the knee is still really skinny. In my picture above, I'm wearing a 27, and I wear a 28 or 29 in my other jeans and cords. Thanks for the compliment, by the way. :flower: It really depends on the piece for me to determine the size, if that's what you were asking. My jeans sizing ranges from 27 in claw mark jeans to 29 or 30 in Strip destroyed jeans. I wear an XS in t-shirts, though I have one that I need in a S. Sweaters range from XS to M (which is nuts). 42P jackets. 37P shirts. 80 or 85 belts. 40.5 or 41 shoes.

well if you didnt know kanye is in the public eye 100% of the time and he is a big celebrity. its his job to be cocky and create an image for himself to seperate himself from all others. he is a pretty flamboyant dresser and that outfit with the red jacket is just another one his out there outfits. i think he looks just fine it. plus who are all of you to hate on him like that? hes such a talented person, talk crap about kanye when youve accomplished everything he has. also who says dior homme is just for rockers? a majority of the people on this thread arent rockers and we pull off dior homme just fine. what are you thinking?

Kanye can wear all the Dior Homme he can get his hands on as far as I am concerned. My objection is that once he starts broadcasting it over MTV and other kitsh/pop media it no longer becomes about the clothes and more about the status and the celebrity appeal. Outfiting The Killers in discrete rocker wear is different then Lindsay Lohan wearing The End t-shirt in seventeen magazine. I bet you a bunch of teeny boppers grabbed them some shirts when they saw her in it. I wonder if Hedi will get rapped about in the next Kanye album?

i was going to stay out of it, but to put things to and end
a man that would wear this :yuk:!!!

does not deserve to be talked about when it comes to fashion other then for poiting the finger for a good  or .

Alex, one more query regarding your fit given that we have a similar built and would like to use your body as a benchmark: In regards to Dior VOTC corduroy pants (beige or black), what size do you wear?

Oh man, those things are slim. I think I'd wear a 29, but I could probably get away with a 30 and still look decent. I started out with a 27, went up to a 28, and now I'm watching out for a 29. They fit exactly like the S/S 05 black canvas jeans.

Did anybody attempt to cover up the damage by sewing the area?

Jun I actually dig those rips on the jeans a lot...makes it look more authentic I feel. If I were you I would continue to rock those until they are totally TRASHED, and then rock them some more. Give it at LEAST another good 6-7 years. At least you don't have some holes that expose your balls when you sit down.

Actually now that I see the wear on those jeans I kinda wanna get a pair for myself...don't know if I can pull off the waxed look. I've always wanted some jeans that look totally filthy, greasy, and beat-up as if they survived twelve rounds with Mike Tyson in a mosh pit.

Thanks for the info. Yes, those VOTC cords are slim, aren't they? I can fit into size 28 (just but still comfortable) but would prefer 29 for less sausage-like look around my thighs. Wouldn't go for 30. Thanks for the black canvas jeans info - I now know what size to look for.

Shirt

Alex,

Just wondering what the P designates in the shirt size? Is a 37P just shorter in length than a regular 37? Also have you found that the neck shrinks at all?

I just bought a 38 white bee shirt and I am technically a 37 neck size, but I'm guessing it's going to shrink at least 1/4 inch after cleaning.

Thanks!

Jun, I agree with Fade to Black. Plus the jeans looks good on you (not many people can pull off a Dior Homme jeans look). Get a patch for the crotch......no one is going to notice down there unless..... .......if that's the case, choose a flourescent yellow patch:D

I'm afraid that my balls would be visible in a couple months if I keep on wearing it :ninja: I'm just kidding... but, I hear you FtB! You just gave me a great idea; I'll attempt to (slightly) damage few other areas manually, besides the crotch, and transform it to a TRASHED look.

Hahaha flourescent yellow patch. It's actually a good idea (but in different color) and I feel dumb now that I considered to sell it when there are more options other than just sewing up the area:yuk:. Thanks sonicyooth!
