I hate how it looks on that model...but if it looks near as good as it did on the runway I will have to get it.

the top seems to pop out too much or something
i prefer the previous f/w06 pictures that were poster earlier

Any news on the silver/gold Dior sneakers? I'm asking specifically about quality, and whether or not the metallic look is just a surface application or something else (ie, like Helmut Lang's metallic leather bags).

Insights?

I took a look at them earlier on this week at Jeffrey's and they didn't really do anything for me. It's not really... lustrous. It looks like a thin coating. That being said, I think the silver ones could look good if paired right. Shiny gold shoes I just don't know about hahaha

Yeah, I definitely want the silver shoes... I have a few jeans/pants that I think it will match up nicely with... Hmm... Anyone else have insights regarding the metallic shoes?

Just a heads up - there's a white leather jacket which just came up on Yoox. In a size 34US/44IT IIRC.

Those are velvet pants.. from F/W 05...

I'd rather keep my opinions to myself :innocent:

Does anyone know if these sunglasses were ever made? Thanks.

Hey Tourni... I guess you have checked www.dior.com in the eyewear section... there are some of them there that looks quite similar, but it's hard to tell from the side-view of the photo... but they are VERY NICE...B) :p ..

Damn... Yoox is not discounting prices of DH by much these days! I remember getting the Reflection jacket with leather cuffs, waist and epaulets for under $600! My reflection leather upper collar wool blazer was $350 on yoox!!!

damn id be proud of that. they probably figured out people will pay next to retail no matter what season. =/ what size do you wear?

to anyone that has recently been to the beverly hills or the las vegas dior homme boutique have they seen this jacket there? its a leather jacket which looks like a blazer. thanks. photo from men.style.com

depending on the cut a 48-52. All my suits are 50 though, and both of the pieces I got from yoox years ago at those prices were 50. I could likely have sized down on the Reflection lambskin detail jacket.

Ah well....

My latest DH acquisition has been the distressed leather jacket from Luster^_^ mmmm so rugged!

Although I do believe in the evolution of a clothing line and a designer's vision, I don't really view Hedi's recent creations as such. It's just jumping all over the place with such a drastic change from this season to next!

I guess it's just a sign to not just follow a single line so diligently. Take from each collection what fits YOU instead of buying a collection because you identify with the COLLECTION.

In that sense, I can thank DH and Hedi for allowing me to finally explore Ann D, Rick Owens, Carpe Diem etc.:flower:

will there be some hooded sweaters available like the ones that were seen in previous collections (ie a grey hoodie featuring the "the end"-print)?

stupid me tried one of those sweaters on while visiting munich, but i just bought a pair of dh jeans there and forgot about the sweater...really bad move - because in vienna where i live there are none available...

sad thing is that body-wise i'm 185cm tall and pretty slim BUT my arms are about 3-4cm longer than your average arm-length and the dh sweater was the only hoodie that really had a great fit with the sleeves ...

i know it's slightly off topic but in case dh wont sell such sweaters in the future: do you know any designers making pullovers that are smaller cut on the body and have excess-length sleeves?
