also another new raw denim, this time with a high waist (or rather high rear if that makes any sense), interesting detail is the placement of black buttons around the belt line, perhaps for a new suspender accessoire, although probably just aesthetic (like the many useless buttons on this seasons jackets).

i will pass on the t-shirts and hoodies as they look worst than ever (who buys that crap anyways right?
I bought the raw denim with buttons in the Harrods preview. The back is high and also loose, the rest of the waistline fits perfectly but where the back is raised it's slightly looser. Possibly to allow more comfort when wearing suspenders? The fit is great though, they're my favourite Dior jeans, I've become addicted to them I'm not allowing anything else to touch my legs at the moment. :D

I actually bought one of the pairs of trainers too, not the gimmicky buckle ones though, they had high tops in selfridges from the new collection.

That sucks about those ripped crotch jeans. I'd be really pissed. But I also can't imagine how they could possibly get that way.

I know it is trendy to not wear underwear with tight fitting jeans and to wash them as infrequently as possible. The tragedy we are discussing is an example of why it is so important to wear underwear. The oils and proteans from your body build up in the denim otherwise and then you get crotch rot. Microbial life forms actually feed on the proteans and when doing so also nibble on the fabric which weakens it. It's kind of gross when you think about it.

Wow drexl, thanks a mil :flower: I'll be stopping by their drop-off location later today :woot:

Hey, can you PM me and let me know how it went. I have the same problem with both of my Dior pairs. Maybe DH wearers are not supposed to have crotches, but I need room, dammit!!!

Well the tighter it is, the more friction you get, the less you wash it (haruki in his disgusting post is not far from the truth, if you wash denim very infrequently it weakens the fabric) the more it falls to pieces. If you add that a lot of DH don't seem to be built to last you've got a potential exhibitionist situation on your hands.

The Harrods Dior SA told me none of them wash the jeans at all. I wear them with underwear but never wash them and they seem to be fine.
Is it just wearing them without underwear that can cause a problem?
What's the point of wearing them without underwear though, can the difference be seen?

I know it's disgusting, but it is true. Listen to your Mom and always wear clean underwear!

The reason they don't wear underwear with tight jeans is for the same thing women worry about--panty lines. Also some men feel it shows off the outline their penis better.

i thought they don't wear underwear because they can't fit into their jeans with the extra centimeters of fabric on!

She shoes are in at LuisaViaRoma.com plus new bags and belts.

Well, not "she" shoes but "the" shoes... God, I'm Karl Lagerfeld... "se shoes are justement les fabulousss"

i was really looking into the lace up patent shoes, but then i saw them at brownsfahion.com, and now they don't seem as attractive.
luisaviaroma needs to get better pics.:p

Random question, might not be in the right place...The AW 07 trainers I've just bought (they're the high tops on Luisviaroma) I've just cleaned with a moist wipe, which are usually fine for cleaning leather trainers etc. The leather on the trainers seems to have gone kinda wrinkly now. Is there anything I can do to reverse this? If not is there any way I could return them because of the, frankly, crap quality of the leather?

I wear underwear and never wash my DH jeans. They're perfectly fine. Maybe I'm just extra careful with them. There's no sign of any wear anywhere on any of my pairs (wow, what a sentence that was!).

since we are talking about maintenance,
what is up with the white repettos.
i've used mine twice, CAREFULLY, and it has nicks and stuff.
i'm afraid to use them again.
how to i take care of these babies....
