I wouldnt think so, she said herself, CSI was just an adventure and shes not planning to be an actress now. I dont mind shes the face of Cointreau or other brands, as long as it "fits" her and she doesnt feel embarrassed by advertising something, but I see your point. What I personally miss is her "old" image, from 2005/06 when she was more brave and experimented with her look, that was still "her look", but it was a bit different than it is now, more surprising and extraordinary.

I agree, she definetly had some kind of edge in her image, she was more brave with her look, as you've said, she used to have more dramatic stylizations. I wonder if maybe M.Manson had that kind of an influence on her image? I also adore her present style. But she certainly could wear something more extravagant from time to time.

á la Balenciaga, I've watched "Burlesque" film and I don't like it. There was something fake in it or maybe I was expecting something quite different from Christina and Cher singing through half of the film. I enjoy CSI with Dita though. I imagine she would be perfect for the role of burlesque queen, but perhaps not in "Burlesque" but something more like "Chicago".
I'm not sure if they really wanted to make a Dita lookalike. Dita also copies other burlesque stars. Anyone who performs burlesque is not necessarily impersonating Dita, we can't give her all credit for this type of performance.

But, I still believe the producers of Burlesque missed up BIG time by not casting her for a role. So of course, Dita wasn't going to support a movie that didn't show her any support. But isn't it ironic how the producers of Burlesque tried to make Kristen Bell into a Dita Von Teese lookalike?

They wanted her to mention about the movie on twitter, and when she refused, as she hasnt seen it, they started being "not nice" suddenly, so she decided to not watch it at all.

I love latest outfit, Dita has a great body, I wish I looked like that at 39...

Possibly, its a shame she doesnt do smokey eyes or more dramatic make up anymore, but everyone changes I guess. I like how she looks now, but its not the same, isnt it

Whilst she is obviously primarily influenced by the beauty and fashions of days gone by, she does keep a certain modernity to her look. The eye make up now is very current - the detail is focused on the top lash with the bottom eyelid clean - which has been seen a lot more on recent catwalks than smoky eye make up.

OMG that beige creamy dressssssss. she looks like she was poured into that dress and that back holy crap. i'm kind of lesbian now because of that dress. and as far as her acting she doesn't want to become actress but she never says no to something that interests her. so far she hasn't find much screen work for herself.

i dont know, you answer that. i do know she'd liked to be taken serious in HOLLYWOOD where is very difficult for an upcoming actress to be taken serious, especially for someone like dita, who is an adult entertainer. some producers dont like to be affiliated with that unfortunately.
