Ah well, I actually think this is the best career move she's made since marrying him. I remember showing her picture to my beau and he commenting that he doesn't think she's attractive. When I disagreed with him, he said, "Look, to a man of any worth, she's not a woman you date or marry. She's not quality." I was floored, but apparently all my guy friends that I've shown her to think so or say so in some way the same thing. I think girls see something different.
I was reading on another forum what one member wrote and thought it was interesting. It sort of summed up my suspicions about her and made me realize what my fiancee was saying she looks like all along to him. Here is what a member of that forum said...(These are not my words, but I'll try to italicize what isn't mine)

I don't know this first hand. My male friend is big into the S&M fetish scene. So he knows quite a few girls and has been to many "events". She travels in a scene that is huge on secrecy, which is kind of lucky for her.

Apparently Ms. Von Teese had a penchant for married or taken men. No Big deal right? ( well it is to me)
Well she also liked to publicly humiliate the wives and girlfriends of these men when she was " done". She would do things like expose the affairs at parties or arrange for the wives to be on tour busses with groupies.

There was also an implication in the death of Keanu Reeve's girlfriend. I know she wasn't charged or anything, but her named was mentioned in conjunction.

I had also heard she would step on anybody and anything to get where she needed to go.

Basically she is kind of like Paris Hilton with retro wear and a penchant for fetishes. I had also heard gossip about a penchant of bisexual " gun play". Which is totally up to her and whoever she wants to shove a gun into to get off.

When she was more in the fetish scene, Heavens to Betsy if you said another girl was attractive around her and her crew. It was like communist China. She would tell people that even as a child she was "pupular among the boys" so she definitely added to the I'm-the-prettiest-prettiest-girl bit and as much as I appreciated her aesthetic, it still annoyed the bejeezers out of me how the whole fetish scene kissed her rear (no pun). Ever since she came more in the public eye, she's been more inviting to the female public by being more modest about her own image of her self but before that she would never even admit to having had surgery. I can see her trying to make other women jealous, but somehow I can't picture the gun play. So, this "info" made me laugh.

sounds like your fiancee and friends suffer from the old madonna-wh*re complex, i've never understood this...as for the fetish stuff, i think people want to believe that celebs are freakier than they are, i'm sure someone would have spoken up about dita when she became famous no matter how secret the society.

Yeah, I thought so at first and asked if it was what she did for a living and my fiancee just said that no it's actually the way she presents herself somehow. He said it was just something she gave off whatever that means. I was actually suprised that men have a totally different radar than women when he said this. I don't think it's the madonna-wh*re complex you refer to but it's weird how we unconciously process someone's impressions on us and I guess that was my fiancee's. Besides, I would have a difficult time being with someone who has Victorian principles and the madonna-wh*re complex so I think it's safe to say that's out of the picture. And the Madonna-wh*re complex is when you see a woman as either Virgin or wh*re and my fiancee didn't seem to categorize her as either, but just a dime-a-dozen sort of thing. I like her style personally and think she's attractive. As for the other friends, I know one of the guys' wives was a sex columnist so I don't think he is what you assume either.
As for the vicious gossip, sorry for publishing it further. I actually did think it was funny and didn't redally mean to "spread the word". C'mon, who can picture her putting a gun "into" someone?
I don't think it's freaky that she's into S&M and I think that's already well known, but I will say that any bad experiences people or fans in that community had with her were quickly squelched, so no it definitely would NOT come out even if it were true. Still, I really doubt the story.

I think she is intimidating to men..becase she isnt "sl*tty" but her job is something that men would generally associate with such a term. I have heard men put down the way a woman looks because of her lack of clothing.. but will still contently watch her walk down the street or go to a strip club and watch a woman strip into nothing. Its a massive contradiction, but i think thats what gives them the power. Men are completly obsessed with women generally speaking.. which in reality makes women powerful. But if a man turns around and says some one is a wh*re, it generally gives the power back to the men.

From what fancy pin up was saying, i think she does give off a very overtly sexual vibe, which i think is why women like her because its inspiring haha. But to men i think it might almost be too much. I remember her quoted as saying "Im the girl you mother warned you about" Which i think is quite fitting.

You know what, you're probably right. It does intimidate people, or at least frustrate them when they can't figure a person out enough to put them into one category. I love her style, but like I said in the past, I'm conflicted because from her fetish days she wasn't so un-catty, but now I think she's much more "socialized"(I don't know how to express it properly other than to say that. You know the avergae fetish enthusiast is a new animal in a sense to the general public, so it could be a pun? ). But anyway, I am personally glad that Dita has been bold enough to dress to the nines and do what she does.

Marilyn Manson Dating Evan Rachel Wood

Rocker Marilyn Manson is romantically involved with 19-year-old actress Evan Rachel Wood, sources close to the situation tell PEOPLE.

The sources say his relationship with the Thirteen actress was a factor in the Dec. 29 divorce filing by Von Teese, 34, Manson's wife of one year.

"Dita is heartbroken, she didn't see this coming," says a source close to the burlesque dancer and MAC cosmetics model. "His partying contributed to the split as well."

Manson, 38, and Wood have been friends for some time. According to his official website, Manson first met Wood when he asked her to be in his upcoming horror film, Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll.

In addition, she posed for a watercolor that he painted, and attended the opening of his new Hollywood art gallery, the Celebritarian Corporation Gallery of Fine Art, last Halloween.

"It came as kind of a shock," Wood told Rolling Stone about being asked to pose. "I was beyond flattered."

Manson, who is currently in Paris, was unavailable for comment. A rep for Wood would not confirm the relationship. A spokeswoman for Von Teese did not return calls for comment.

woooow, if you go back and look at pics of her from the last 2-3 months, she's definitely studying dita... even the way she poses on the red carpet, hand on hip. and she had long black leather gloves on at manson's halloween gallery opening, a tell-tale sign. (this is sort of about dita's style...)

I saw a special on Dita yesterday on Discovery Channel and she was just breathtaking.They showed her tallking about her dancing and clips from her show.There were also Christian Louboutin,Roland Mouret and Hamish Bowles tallking about her.It was great but i misssed the start.

Wow, is Rachel trying to be Dita's twin? Aside from the hair, she stands like her, dresses like her even down to the red lipstick. She's pretty pathetic. Dita deserves better than Manson, I hope she finds it someday.
