She is a famous burlesque dancer, she is not famous because she is Marlyn Manson's wife. You CLEARLY do not know what you are talking about.

And she does deserve to be in Vogue, she has style, character and is unique.

I think she is so beautiful. And her costumes are unparalled. She is also a natural blond.

I figured she was a blonde under all that black dye.

I have a friend who sported the same look for years. It's been going for ages here in San Francisco, the Betty Paige/ rockabilly girl look. It's a friggin' uniform for some of us 30 something girls. Usually loads of star tattoos for some reason, as well, and those creeper shoes. I worked in nightclubs for a few years and being a nightlifing rocker chick makes you look a fright in daylight hours after awhile. I love Dita, but here the look reminds me of insular bar scenes and not-so-chic alcoholism.

Dita is an entertainer. She doesn't just sit around and do nothing. She didn't CHOOSE to become famous..... it's the public who made her famous. She just does what she does..... and she's brilliant at it. Well-deserving of her fame. Honestly, I don't even think she cares one bit about the fame part of it anyway. But I am thankful that she is in the public eye because I have much adoration for her.

Ok, I've only seen her on photos, but I think her success comes from that what she does is not only a pose, it's "real". It may not be something very extraordinary or over-spectacular, but it's done 100% and with passion. And then you can become famous just for dressed up sitting and standing and putting clothes off...
