Do you line the insides of your eyes?

those sound pretty unavoidable, except if you use something over top of the kohl/pencil liner (like a gel or liquid liner) it will stay longer.

I'm such a bad lazy bum. I've run out of my makeup remover and i'm usualy half drunk when i get home so i just roll into bed without removing and the next morning wipe away what has smudged and then wear it like normal makeup. Can you say hobo??!

usually use at dark chocolate tone to my eye colour if aything... not a big makeup person so i seldom do it.... i like how it look.... usually if u want ur eye look bigger, line both top and bottom rim :s

Yup, it looks really good on me, but not during the day, only at night. I love black and green (light or dark).

I sometimes use black or dark brown khol on my upper lash line to make my eyelashes seem fuller = my eyes seem bigger. Instead of lining my inner rims with khol, I use dark (usually grey or brown) eyeshadow just below the eyes along my lashes. It makes my pretty small eyes look bigger.

I love the black rimmed look but i have such heavy eyelids and my eyes are so small already, how can i achieve that look without making my eyes tiny? Or should i never ever do it? even though i badly wanna do it. Thanks :)

I do this usually when i go out on a night time, only black liner though,

I use Dior khol pencil in black, line the upper lash line and the lower lash line, and then fill in the inner line of the eye for a smudgy rock and roll look.

is there a makeup thread/article with pictures which shows how this is done?

everyones got different methods, its so confusing!

i dont do it anymore, sometimes i do blue though , if im going out in the evening or something, it makes brown eyes stand out a bit more.

I used to do it with a light brown pencil from Biotherm. Then I got fitted for contacts and my optometrist (sp?) almost fainted when I told her I did it some times. So I got scared of hurting my eyes and I don't do it anymore...

So chicken right? :D

I used to, but one time when I was eating a spicy burritto for lunch, it made my eyes run...and the liner went down my face.

Fun times. :)

Tightlining, yeh? Or is that the wrong term? I always do so and pair it with mascara...I always thought it looked very subtle and pretty. And I find it easier to do, hahaha. I just line the top inner lid, on the membrane, and when I blink let the excess got to the bottom lid.

I don't even know how to apply eyeliner on my lash line, it always looks incredibly stupid when I do so...

Are pictures prohibited? If not (since I have the photos handy):

^taken with my phone so it's not so clear...

^clearer and smiling.

This is what my eyes look like on the daily using this technique.

I wear contacts and have never run into trouble doing this method, and I have done it this way since I began wearing makeup!

Always - using Rimmel kohl pencil in Jet Black. I always do this, even if I don't wear any other make-up. I've been doing it for so many years now, I think my eyes don't look 'right' without it.

i love the way it looks but i cant do it cause first and foremost i wear contact lenses and since my eyes are really dark it looks kind of weird having a dark line so close to them. but i do it really near to the lash line right in the outter corner to give depth and it really works, i love it.

once in a while I would use a white pencil...this tightlining has sparked my curiousity; I will have to try it out thanks :flower:

white kohl makes me look sick  doesnt suit me at all , i guess because i already have big open eyes

i love lining my inner rims with Givenchy black kohl , then do a catty line on the upper lid with Lancome liquid eyeliner - with lotsa mascara B) and voila
