does anyone know if they would get softer after wearing them for a longer time? i m just wondering if i should size up or down?

Size down. They run big from my experience and they get softer.

My white 8-eyes just arrived last night. I am in loove with them. I'm so glad I purchased them. I've gotten a lot of looks and "Great Shoes" all day haha.
They hurt super bad, I had to buy thicker socks while I was between classes. I'm just looking forward to breaking them in ! I didn't take long to break in my black pair.

Did you get the all white or white/black soles & black laces? What will you wear them with... any pictures? Im thinking about a white pair for spring/summer.

I purchased this pair:

They aren't black soles, but they actually look pretty dark.
They came with black laces and an extra pair of yellow laces. I prefer the black because they make more of a "statement" i think.

I took pictures of my outfit this morning so I'll post them on here and my blog when I get home from class (probably 9pm cali time).

Cool thanks. Im so obsessed with my Docs & always interested in how others wear them.
Do all Docs come with two laces? My black ones came with a regular black & a silk black but I wasnt sure if it was just those or what.

I really do think I want white but just cant decide on white/black or all white including soles.

I'm obsessed too. Before I purchased my first pair I googled how other girls wore theirs. I didn't want to buy them and not have any idea how to wear them.
My tall vintage black pair didn't but the white ones did (which I wasn't expecting). It's nice because now if I get sick of the black laces I can switch it up. haha
I'm not too keen on white soles.. white and black looks the best imo

I think Doc Martens are effortlessly cool. I just read that model Zippora Seven has about 12 pairs. I think the Doc Martins she is wearing below look great!

I haven't worn mine the last couple of months because I had problems in the past with salt eating the yellow stitching. I need to get a "beater" pair that I don't care if they fall apart.

Patent would be perfect for spring. I'd love to get the lavender or pink.
Does anyone know a good way to break Docs in?? They are always incredibly painful when I first wear them. I get cuts on my heels

The only thing I know to do is wear a really thick sock until they are broken in... works for me.
