yeah it was a textiles project at school which also doubles up as my prom dress

im actually quite proud of it im going to have to find other occassions to wear it otherwise it will just gather dust in my wardrobe!

the only thing i might like better is a higher heeled shoe with
an open toe and ankle strap...
i know that's very specific..so if you don't have that...

Boots, just wanted to mention that I too love the dress, hair, bag...everything!

I’m back with a small query about shoes:

Normally I would wear the cream flats--much more my style--but I’ve finally found some high heels I can actually walk in (dr scholl’s ) and maybe this would look nicer with heels...What do you think?

Hmm... I think they both look nice. I'd say it would depend on the occasion. The flats definitely keep the outfit more casual where the heels give it a more dressed up air. For example, I'd wear the flats to a BBQ and the heels for a night on the town!!

Ha- it didn’t even occur to me to look at it as dressy/casual because I’m so careful with these flats because of the color... I’m planning to wear this for dinner out with DH so maybe the heels then! Thanks guys

Okay i need advice on this outfit...

* my body will be brown from spray tan

* i will be wearing this wig in black

* i have blue eyes and because of my blonde hair my make up lady carol will have to make my eyebrows black

* i will be wearing that dress from victoria secret

Problem...
* would chocolaite brown suede knee high boots go with this outfit,
or black suede knee high boots or something else

any suggestions will help as i want to look really hot... this date isnt for a few weeks and we are going clubbing kisses xx vg

i peronally don't like the dress, but if i were to choose between the brown boots and the black ones, i think i'd go black for contrast.

VG..it's summer..that wig is going to feel like a big warm wooly cap..not to mention that the thing you do when you go clubbing is dancing which means you'll probably be perspiring loads..(again I miss a perspiring smiley )

And the idea of colouring you eyebrows black..what's gonna happen when you're not wearing the wig..are you going to bleach your eyebrows back to they lighter colour ? Make sure your make up lady is certain of what she is doing..

vg..the dress is not ugly..i just think that you could find something more flattering...i agree with hanne on the wig thing......go as yourself...your feautures and a dark tan will look great..as fot the boots..if you're going for a flowy dress look...it might be too heavy a matireal...plus it is summer as it has been mentioned.......the heat and suede.....no good...i would do a strappy sandal..or maybe a cage shoe or simple pump with a hot heel...i'll pm you some ideas

^ i agree with the above! the wig, besides just being hot, will move around a lot. and dying your eyebrows black (if that's what you meant and not just coloring them in) will be a mess. i like the boot idea, but it's true..it will be hot. i'd go with something lighter to club in.

Why am i so fashionably retarted at the moment... i have long blonde hair and have always been jealous of black haired girls because they are all so pretty...

Most of my dresses are too couture.. like too dressy to wear to a club...

Thanks for the feedback on the shoes everyone. I ended up wearing the heels but with a different outfit as the weather changed this weekend…

V Goddess…If you want to look your best for this date I would caution against white pants very hard to pull off even with perfect supermodel shape…plus, for a hot date I would go for a dress If you have a couple of weeks why not look for a nice dress maybe in silky jersey -> sexy/feminine yet comfortable to dance in? I would choose a solid color & accessorize with bold jewelry...Just an idea...Then again, I've been known to wear suede boots in summer so don't listen to me JMHO- have fun
