what a shame only one (whom I adore) of these girls are working nowadays... and instead we get Sukis and Kendalls...

I Miss Eugenia. A very charismatic model...
What a fabulous campaign! This makes me miss Meisel shooting on sets.
I'm tired of this era of white backgrounds...

When D&G was D&G...

I don't recall this ad at all...

For me, their ad campaigns back then really did a great job at creating a world that I WANTED to be a part of, and most importantly, selling clothes that I at least WANTED to wear. And isn't that the whole point of an effective ad campaign?

Now, there's nothing about their ads that inspire me to even LOOK at their clothes at the local Saks. But I doubt I'm missing anything anyways.

And, yeah, Lola701, Eugenia was a fantastic model. She was able to do all sorts of looks and styles with equal aplomb. I don't even need to look at the current threads for the current models here. I can pull up her old thread and still be wowed by everything posted.

When D&G was great... and their campaigns as well.
