Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2025 Milan

LOVE THE HAIR! D&G on autopilot for sure. Vittoria opening was all I needed from them tbh.

I really, really, really wanted to like it ... and I loved the opening, the mood. But it started to fall flat after a few looks. Also the pace of the show and the unsureness of the movement of the models made it so boring for me. It just was not as dynamic as it could have been.

Terribly dated and demodé. The show gave even a cheaper passé feeling than the previous one, which looked super dated due to the heavy Marlene Dietrich inspired makeup and the coppola with veil combo.
I don't know what's wrong these cheap wigs this season: First Anok at Versace with that wig and then this show...tragic.

Loved it and especially since Madonna was there in person. Their collections are very feminine and flattering and would actually benefit from the curvier models being included in the cast too I wonder why they rarely cast different sizes. You can tell that the models enjoyed walking the show despite the staircase of death where everyone grabbed that rail for their dear life.

Could they not afford better wigs? A Dolce and Gabbana show now just feels like children playing dress ups in mum's boudoir. The lingerie is just as overplayed as their "Viva Italiana Familia" look they had going on for a loooooooooong time.

Their menswear has been consistently good and refreshing, womenswear other hand are quite uninspiring...get rids of those lingerie/corsets and move on

Wigs by Guido Palau btw

Guido should know better. Especially with the headbands. They give every model huge forehead real-estate but you can still see their original hairline and hair type so they should have been wider. It gives less Madonna and more traction alopecia, which I guess is very "now" Madonna when you think about it.

Why WWD dont make reviews of D&G...i have no idea there was a feud...anyone can explain?

Completely agree. The models in particular threw it off for me. They looked so uncomfortable. I’m guessing the dresses and/or shoes were really hard to walk in.
