this image in particular explains why it reminded me of that one vivienne westwood mens collection (my favorite one)...where a lot of the models are wearing skirts. i forget which one it was but it was really crazy and colorful and totally different idea for men at the time. nobody was being that playful or adventurous, at least not that i was aware of.
