yeah easily the best i've seen from dries for quite a number of seasons. i always feel like dries is at his best when he conjures a certain level of simplicity. this reminds me of dries we used to see so much in the late-90's and early 00's.

When Dries is on top-form there's no competition. I agree with all of you, this is the best collection of the season so far and one of his personal best.
There's some big seasonal trends like the straps, the pajamas-suit silhouette, the sports inspiration, the scarf worn on one side. But this not a trendy show, they dont look like trends but more like a timeless success.
The sports inspiration here is an amazing hommage to ballet and athleticism. Embroderies are used on coats or underneath a jacket to recall the one-side scarf when the straps create a sexy and alluring silhouette. Yet what really makes this collection special is the stunning use of his own codes : the fluidity, the rich fabrics, the exoticism, the sensuality or the extreme elegance and it's always very masculine.

Dries at his best - collection that'll continue being genuine and alluring without fading over time. Slightly quaint and simple with just about right amount of playfulness. Footwear might be a bit crank for my taste, but it does not diminish gorgeousness of the collection in any way.

Dries Van Noten have been my favourite for years. He's always reinventing himself, creating clothes that people really want to wear, with great details and excellent cuts and not following the trends. This is another brilliant collection from him, so effortless, so chic, so masculine.

This is what fashion should look like. It's foam-at-the-mouth amazing. I feel like pointing out what's amazing about it would just be redundant, so... best of the season, must buy, etc.

So f*cking good...(sorry). There's such ease and elegance to virtually every piece, I don't even know where to start on favourites...I'm very taken with the straps on the suits though; are they attached to scarves? Can't work it out!

Very unexpected but in a good way! Dries Van Noten is not always about mixing patterns. I feel very easy and refreshed just like a summer breeze.
