Ed Westwick

So agree with wild roses about Chalet Girl being a feel good movie. It's not one of those wow movies that blows your mind away with the acting but it was funny, made you smile and yes very predictable. Ed was just so damn sexy in the film, it was so rare to see him smiling as opposed to him in Gossip Girl where he is always moody.

Thanks for the screencaps wild roses :flower:

You're welcome guys! :D

There have been several mentions of the leather jackets he wears, but, oddly, I'm most impressed with the jeans. The costume designer did a really awesome job picking jeans with a cut and colour that flatter Ed's...assets. :D (I know Ed is pictured wearing jeans almost daily IRL, but I don't think any have been as flattering as what he wears as Jonny.)

I finally found a link where I could watch Chalet Girl and I really loved his leather jackets. But aside from that, I was really impressed with the red ski pants. I think I need to pick up a pair for when I go boarding next.

Ed's going to be playing Tybalt in a new version of Romeo & Juliet, with Hailee Steinfeld playing Juliet. So far I it's brilliant casting, Ed''s got Tybalt written all over him. Really interested to see who they go for as Romeo. I'd say Max Irons but I suspect he's way too old if they've gone for Hailee!

He's still in negotiations, though. I hope we get an official confirmation soon, it would be a fantastic role for Ed.

Tumblr is exploding with Ed's Penshoppe pics and BTS interviews. I've never heard of brand, but I think he wears it well (that is, based on the photos I've seen of him in it).

I'm personally anxious for BTS photos of Ed in the new R&J. Try though I might, I can't imagine him in Renaissance clothing. Although that's some time yet.

^ And Tybalt was the arrogant rich kid (kind of a Chuck Bass in Verona) as I recall who Romeo finally kills after he takes out his best friend...This should be worth seeing!! B)

We are taught Shakespeare in public schools too. ;) (And the play is so well known, I doubt anyone here needs an explanation on who's who in it.)

I will frankly admit to not being a fan of R&J. I'm only looking forward to this version for three reasons: 1. the cast 2. the locale 3. it's not a contemporary-time frame for the play (which it seems every version has been since Baz Luhrmann's 1996 film).

BTS of the Penshoppe shoot (please excuse me while I wipe the drool off my chin):

Ed was also at the BAFTA Brits to Watch (re: the William and Kate dinner event). He was wearing his tried-and-true black suit, white shirt with black tie look. Will post some pics of it later.

^Yea, I saw that last week. Here are some pics.

Ed Westwick and Dominic Cooper suit up for the BAFTA Brits to Watch Gala, held at the Belasco Theatre on Saturday (July 9) in Los Angeles.

Thanks mordant! I haven't seen those pics of him by the car. Thanks for adding those!

Where's Boomer when one needs him to explain Ed's unique bowtie?

Ed Westwick's character Chuck Bass gets in a fight with some local ruffians on the set of "Gossip Girl", shooting it's fifth season on location in New York City. In the scene, Penn Badgley's character Dan comes to the rescue of his hapless friend.

I think it's summer outfit, so Chuck can wear something like that. Scene where he's with some other guys and it looks like a fight can be from GG.
We'll see in September ;)

^ I remember when Chuck had his fights at The Plaza.... It looks like Ed has been hitting the gym during the break!
