I love how modern these look. I had no idea Edie was still with Andy at this point though. Or was this from the time when they briefly reunited?

I read somewhere that Edie came back to the Factory and tried to do another movie featuring Ondine in the late 60's and according to him Andy was too disgusted with the mental and physical state Edie was in that Andy could hardly keep filming. She was one of the few people who left Andy and was allowed to come back to work for him.

Yes, I'm definitely sure this was when she came back because they were taken in 1967, a year after she left. I remember reading about that film too, the fragility that was described is very evident in these pics.

thanks again PinkGoddess for these rare pics of Edie, when I look at them I could see how much of an affect her habits were taking a toll on her physically. In one of the Ciao Manhattan tapes Edie said that she wore so much makeup because she never realized how beautiful she was, she said it took her twenty seven years to realize that and practically destroy it. I wish she was still around today
