She looks very pretty but it's the American Music Awards, something with color and pizazz would have been better. Since she loves Ralph Lauren she could have worn one of his Autumn creations like this suit, but I don't see her taking that much of a risk.

I think Emmy gets a bad rap for being "boring" with her choices. I definately agree she should wear more bright colors. But she's been branching out from the Ralph Lauren thing, and taking a risk here and there recently. I do give her credit for that.

I don't know who did the 1st outfit, but the 2nd is Gucci and the 3rd is RL in an "autumn color". She's also worn other RL dresses in autumn tones:

In terms of wearing deisgners OTHER than Raplph Lauren- she's been doing that quite a bit lately, Like the AMA dress and the Gucci shown above. And

and a few others. Personlly I think her problem lies with color, not variety. She'd look great in more bright, bold colors. I think the rreason people accuse her of being "bland" is that she always looks very put together, and classic. That's her style though. It seems to be who she is and what she's comfortable with (which I think style should be a reflection of). I think if she wears more bright colors she'll still look very clean and elegant.
