Amy Sacco's Cocktail Party
Amy Sacco, a.k.a. the Club Queen of N.Y.C., has witnessed quite a few celebrity brouhahas at her eternal hotspot, Bungalow 8 (Naomi Campbell vs. Nicky Hilton; Stephen Dorf vs. Jeremy Piven—those long bathroom lines don’t always bring out the best behavior in stars who are not accustomed to waiting for, well, anything).

But at L.A.'s Bar Marmont, it was all peace, love and martinis at the Imperia Vodka-sponsored and -spiked party for the nightlife diva-turned-author’s cool new coffee-table tome from Assouline, appropriately titled
Cocktails. (That's Amy above in the green dress, flanked by Eva Mendes and Benicio Del Toro.)

Chateau! I live here when I'm in L.A., and its one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back. It's like home for me," Amy said before turning her attention to the impressive crowd that had gathered to greet her. "It's amazing how many people turned out," she added. "A lot of people I didn't think would bother—they came! It's really a great compliment to Bungalow 8." (Just remember, Amy: No doubt your new West Coast-based BFFs will expect to breeze right past your notoriously tough doorman on their next trip to N.Y.C.)
Amy's stylish entourage of admirers included Selma Blair, Kelly Lynch and the aforementioned Eva Mendes. But as readers of my "Guilty Pleasures" back page know, Eva is a self-proclaimed “beer girl”—she prefers Amstel Light to a cocktail any day. Could a
Beer book be in her future? Watch your back, Amy!
