Why is there so much controversy about this? It hasn't really been officially announced, right? And it seems like half the people are vehemently denying it, as if it is such a terrible thing! I don't understand ...

^ Well she isn't exactly known for her showstopping elegance. Most of the time she's posing like a bimbo and from what I've heard she's a mega b*tch. Stella McCartney is too subdued for someone like Lively. She suits a brand like DSquared.
Also, Stella McCartney is the fundamentally quirky British girl at heart and Blake is anything but.
