Factory Girl

I agree. You an not argue about taste issues, we say here in Finland.
Yeah exacly, you can't say for a fact how it's made... Same with fashion or music and whatever... it all comes to personal taste... and even if something is badly or not well done, still gotta give them some credit, in everything that is created, there's much efford put in and it's a long process..

I hated this movie, and it had nothing to do with the fact that it didn't really represent any of the 'icons' at all. It just plain sucked. I'm glad I rented it because i'm definitely not buying it. Hayden Christensen was horrible too! This is coming from someone who likes him!

even being such a fan of edie sedgwick, i liked the movie. i must admit that i expected much more. but this is the only film sienna was really acting good and guy pearce looks exactly like andy warhol. the way guy pearce talked in the movie is exactly like andy warhol used to talk. guy pearce was the best thing is this movie.
but hayden was horrible. actually, i hate bob dylan, so maybe this fact contributed to me dislike of hayden's character at all.
and i liked the outfits and the make-up of the movie.

I agree with you. I watched this on a flight, otherwise I would have never have seen this. It was laughably bad. Sienna's gestures and speech struck a real false note. I kept laughing at the fact that they could never say it was Bob Dylan, just the rocker or musician or whatever they called him.

I enjoyed the film, the story was a bit lame but I liked the atmosphere. And Sienna's clothes! Wow..

I agree with atooomic that Guy Pearce was the ONLY one in the film with talent. The other actors were embarrassing.

They should redo this with different actors, it really is a great story to tell. Michelle Williams did her version of an Edie-esque character for I'm Not There and she would actually be perfect for the role of Edie. And Michelle would add some credibility.

Guy Pearce is just amazing as Warhol. I admit I am completely not a fan of Warhol, as I prefer to favor other pop artists, but Pearce really did great getting down his mannerisms and way of talking.

Hayden Christensen is not a great actor at all. In the films I've seen him in, he's never impressed me any bit.

Those guys who are filming her I think are supposed to be John Palmer and Weisman. When they leave they say "Ciao", don't they?

An even more obvious reference in that scene was Sienna drinking the exact same vodka from the exact same frame and position as she does in Ciao! Manhattan.

I loved the movie, the fashion and I think Sienna did an amazing job!
