Famous Fashion Designers and their school?

so did any of the famous (well-known) fashion designers actually go to a fashion school? or do you know of any?

McQueen, Galliano, Chalayan and S. McCartney went to Central St Martin's ... Ford attended Parsons ... there are some like Vera Wang who just started working in the bussiness and started designing .. are you interested on a designer in particular?

^hey,that's not always the case. Olivier Theyskens only went to school for only a mere semester then dropped out. He of course,also, honed his skills from his dressmaking grandmother so...just depends on the talent. Dontalla just has no talent...school or no school,she still probably would have been utter crap.

Yes, MJ not only went to Parsons, he snagged top awards (two Golden Thimbles I believe) & graduated. There's quite a long list of Parsons grads who've done well ...

Oh I know it does. At least for most. But I think it also depends on the school too...especially of what I'm seeing these days from the establishments...very shoddy talents coming up. Not calling any out,of course

a lot of people just started out in carrers completely opposite to fashion but i guess since they had such a strong drive they got into it easily. i really want to do fashion merchandising or marketing when I'm older but I think it may be safer to study business first at a good school then move into fashion..and yes marc jacobs did go to parsons so did donna karan and narciso rodriguez!!!!!
