PARIS IN BLOOM

Inspired by L'Officiel Russia March 2007 cover and editorial with Natalia Piro, Japan, Colour, and of course, Paris.
The hair is slick and chic and the makeup is pretty and funky and is slightly influenced by Japan.

Snejana and Natalia are laying in the flower bed in the Jardin des Tuileries. It is a bright and sunny day. There are no people other than Snejana and Natalia. They are laying opposite themselves and they make a slight circular shape. Their hair is slightly messy.

Concept: A brief retrospective of Riccardo Tisci's work for the house of Givenchy. Shot in B&W on a clear, yet sunless winter day - the photos should appear cold and sharp. The location is vacated, so the model stands alone. The photo spread would consist of only 3 shots because it would be accompanied by an article.

Paris is burning
Photographer: Steven Meisel (kind of an uncreative choice but all the other ones I've thought of where either too artficial or not high-fashion enough)
Model: Guinevere van Seenus.
Mood:
The lightning is supposed to look like this.
The main idea comes from the 2005 civil unrest in France (which started in a suburb of Paris). It's at night and rainy. There're people being arrested, battered, cars are burning. But Guinevere is always the centre of attention.

Guinevere is standing in front of the Arc de Triomphe (it just can be seen in the background). She looks very aggressive and a couple of police men dressed in breaking-demontransions-uniform (i have no idea of the name).

It's the story of this amazing exhibit, the clash of modern art and old-fashioned luxury that is not a clash after all but just kitsch of different epochs matching each other frightingly well. And how one feels walking by all this. Make-up and Hair:
First Pic:
The entrance of Versailles, the model walks by the artwork, seen from far away, turning slightly to the camera, wearing:
Christian Lacroix ivory jacket, Giles canary yellow dress, Chloé boots.
Second pic:
The famous lobster right in the middle of Versailles castle. The model stands in the middle of the room with a strong pose, biting on her thumb as if she's thinking about something. She doesn't look at the lobster. Look:
Isaac Mizrahi coat, Giambattista Valli dress, Chanel booties and bag
Third pic:
Michael Jackson and Bubbles porcelain sculpture in the middle of the room. The model stand behind the artwork, half hidden by it. Her head is tilted slightly and she wears a knowing smile. Outfit:

And I have one more question: Who is going to make the rules? I think it would be nice to have rules in place. I have some ideas but I don't really know all of them and I don't want to do it by myself.

well i have to be sincere ... it seems mods "don't care" about the thread, so i guess it will end not as a challenge, but as a simple thread where you can express your imagination and work and passion and genius !
