My local Fendi boutique has the Velvet Spy Squirrel Bag in burgandy for $3400 CDN.
I thought it wasn't that nice, I prefer a solid honey color!

When I was placing an order for my bbag, my sister asked me to place a special order for the green..The SA confirmed me that the seasonal colours (i.e green , petrol and cherry red etc..) are not avaliable for order..however i can place black, dark brown and cognac..(on going colours) or the new season colours which is honey, white and gold

I went to my local Fendi store today to check out if I could get the Petrol - the SA here told me that they will no longer be bringing in the Petrol as its an old color, no longer in production - I find that hard to believe...esp when I am reading almost everyone in this thread is happily getting a petrol & I cant get even order one in my country...

bbbochap, petrol was in huge demand and most TFS members were wait listed the lucky ones were the ones who had it after x mas . After Xmas fendi made and sent alot of petrol to fulfill the demands...so in some stores they were readily avaliable...

If Fendi were to keep making special orders for old colours...the new colours wont sell as much...i think they are trying to focus on their newer collection

yes i know that they are avaliable, i was calling to place an order for a bbag and my sister asked me to place an order for a green spy bag ( previous season) and the SA told me they dont do past seasonal colours, only current season and on going colours.
bbochop was talking about the petrol...the white is a new colour, the brown (on going season) and the hologram ( is old season, but not in much demand as the rest )

Hi! I'm relatively new to this board - I usually haunt the Chloe Paddington girls.

I want to put an order in for a Honey Spy and a med black patent B-Bag. What has been your experience pre-ordering with Neimans and Saks for these bags?

I would pre-order with Fendi in California (South Coast Plaza) but I've heard that the SAs are rude and difficult. I had enough of that at LV in Beverly Hills, so I don't want a repeat.

Any Fendi boutiques you'd recommend?

Well, Saks.com has now sent another cancellation notice in regards to the cognac spy I ordered on Jan 3rd. Anyone who is ordering from Sak's may want to start looking elsewhere...seems they cannot get their hands on the merchandise and fall through on the ship dates promised.

That sucks! I just got into it with a Customer Service rep from Saks. On Feb. 1, I called and asked if they had an updated ship date for my black Spy. They said no. So I cancelled my order and put in a preorder for a different black spy, since it had a ship date of 3/15. Today, I get a letter in the mail -- dated Feb. 1 -- that says my ship date for my black spy (the one I cancelled) is now a confirmed Feb. 28th.

So I call up, and they tell me I can't reinstate my order, and then -- now this is my favorite - they tell me that my new order is IN STOCK but they won't ship it because they don't have enough for everyone. So I'm like, let me get this straight, you give me incorrect information, and now you're telling me the second bag I ordered is in stock, but you won't ship it?

Ridiculous. I'm never shopping Saks again.

That is insane. I'm so sorry to hear that, Shannon. I hope you will soon get your hands on a black Spy. All this stuff about Saks is just so hard to comprehend. A big company like that...you'd think they'd have good customer service. I am sure a lot of people won't be doing business with Saks.com anymore. I know I won't!

Styledrops ???

People have asked about styledrops before and I believe the question has not been resolved re authenticity. If you buy something from them make sure you can get refunded if it isn't what you expect. Just my opinion.

Ardiennet, call them, and ask for a supervisor, and make sure to copy all of the communications you receive and send them to Corporate. Get names, dates and times - Saks has no clue what they are doing.

Get this, now they're saying that the bag *isn't* in stock, and won't be until March 15th. So I was like, 'so it suddenly went out of stock, or did you give me incorrect information yet again?' And instead of answering, they are dropping the shipping charges. Well big deal! I want my bag. I am beyond pissed off.
