Has anyone seen a chocolate brown spy lately? I'm looking for one and just wondered where I might be able to locate one.

They had a bunch over at South Coast Plaza Fendi a week ago. I'd try there. Let me know if you need the number.

Sorry, I just get excited whenever a landmark anywhere near my home is mentioned. I am a dork. That orange shearling spy has been sitting there forever. I don't know why, I've tried it on and it looks quite nice. I'm not even a big fan of shearling and I had to be dragged away from it by my mother.

There were a couple brown spy's at Fendi NYC earlier this week but they may have been the tabacco color as opposed to the chocolate. How much of a difference is there between those two colors? Any one know?

Tabacco...that's the one I want. I think it's the official name for the chocolate color. I have a cognac one and I'm so ticked right now. I've used it 3 times and there's a ton of color rubbing off. It's going back to NM tomorrow. I can't believe it. I heard that it would happen, but this is very spotty and quite noticeable right on the front. The one area is a round circle...almost looks like a cigarette burn. It's from the compartment on the front that hangs down. I'm wondering if the chocolate one won't do that. I'm just so upset...I hope NM gives me a refund.

Haha... normally I dont' get to any LI malls, but my boyfriend lives out there and he was nice enough to drive me to a mall cause i was booored!

I can pretty much say I'm not a huge fan of of the orange shearling bag.. but the black one was nice!

Oh my goodness. I am so sorry to hear that. They had better give you a refund There has really been a drop in the level of customer service and quality from some of these stores lately. I don't know what the deal is. I say get your Tabacco directly from Fendi if at all possible. I've always had pleasant experiences with my SA there.

Luna, the malls here are horrific. Horrific. I rarely shop at them anymore but they do remind me so much of my teen years when my friends and I thought were just "it" when we'd hit up the stores there.

Little did we know...

The shearling is so impractical and it borders ridiculous but I'm drawn to it. Much like my love of dance pop I can only accept it but never explain it.

I'm just so upset about it!! I called Fendi here and they have a choc brown and cognac. Do you think my cognac was a defect......or should I get the choc brown? I really loved the cognac color, but I'm nervous to get another one. What do you all think?

Saw a metallic Hologram Spy (with braided handles) on a middle-aged lady yesterday in the supermarket. It was gorgeous!!! Up until yesterday, I've only seen the hologram satchel IRL and sighted from afar the hologram Spy. My (guy) friend actually spotted the Spy 1st while I was busy looking for the aisle with instant noodles! :LOL: He was sweet (and mad) enough to indulge me in a game of follow-the-Spy-around-the-supermarket. Any longer and the lady would have hollered for security to take-out this mad bag stalker!!! I had actually given up on the Hologram and resigned myself to the Brown Spy or the Wisteria from Spring-Summer 06 or whichever one that I can get my hands on in Milan in April. But now I'm all worked up on the Hologram again...SIGH...

Just wondering did you condition and protect your spy before you used it? I have a cognac spy too, I haven't taken it out yet because I want to condition it first.

does the hologram come in different colors? The reason I'm asking is that I called my SA if they had any spy satchels in and she said that they have one that is green with orange undertones (if you brush the leather one way you see orange) with green braided handles. I asked if it was a hologram but I don't think she knew what I was talking about. Has anyone seen this color IRL?

Yes, I conditioned it with the appleguard lotion first and then the spray. It had these 2 small spots on it when I got it.....they just got bigger with use. Now they're very noticeable. I could handle it if it was more uniform, but they stick out.....it's like 2 big round cigarette burns. It's hard to describe, but they look bad. I'm going to check out bluefly. Thanks!
